Okay so I just moved so I recently uncovered all of my Professor Layton games. One of my favorite game series of all times hands down. I’ve always enjoyed the dynamic between the Professor and the other characters. And the puzzle solving game play? Always fun. Always silly. I can’t wait to get through them again

Finally leaving work

I got little to no sleep last night on account of falling asleep around 5 am.. does that mean I’m going to bed early tonight? Nope!

So there’s a note of personal history here that would take me a while to get into but I personally have a soft spot for Near. There’s a lot to be said for the Wammy’s children in general. Being taken from your families one way another, whether it be in their passing or removal from unhealthy homes…Wammy’s is not a perfect place to be. From such a young age being made to register your intelligence as your only value in life, does something to you. Nate is an interesting soul. Being so closed off emotionally, in such an environment isn’t unusual. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was akin to A. Quietly bubbling away under the surface. I hold admiration for him.

promoting manipulation tactics as greatness did make me smile. wryly.

ive learned a new perspective, I suppose being great doesnt always require arrogance and selfishness, to me shaking off the idea that knowingness is a burden is difficult. I wont clog your inbox, but I hope your mood improves, and perhaps ill bounce thoughts in here again sometime.

do you subscribe to the idea that in order to be great you must also be loud? actions or otherwise? passivity is considered detrimental to those with drive, im not so certain I believe in the idea much myself anymore.

it is indisputable that being known correlates, however I more so refer to the abstract principle of greatness. regardless, I would like to know your thoughts.

While I do say that the extreme tends to leave an impression, there’s something to be said about quiet revenge. There are small personal ways to put chips into the minds of those who betray you. A change of tone here, a carefully selected suggestive wording there? Allow them to brew their own doubts and drown in them. Both can be effective. It depends on what a situation calls for.

Both can achieve results. Regardless of your end goal. The same can apply to being “great”. Show up everyday and do what you can for yourself and for the world. Even if you are not remembered through history and books, make marks on enough hearts and the stories they tell will carry you onwards anyway.
