Then came the prep and paint. Added new storage holes and sealed many found during the prep work. Made new king plank (Floor Plank). Sealed everything in epoxy first.

Then came sanding and varnishing the mast and making my hardware.

And then the fiberglass work…. Plenty of help from @cbrxxrider.

And the rebuild went on…

It cleaned up pretty well after a couple of jet washes and some chemical treatments.

This is how S/V Mon Neg came to me. A little rough to say the least.

Working on a full boat tent with a skirt to match. Starting with an old DD MC light weight tarp. Should provide some protection when I sail/motor/row/pole my way into the swamp. Spending the night amongst the cypress trees is safer than the open water.
