Oh no! A child in trouble! Lucas' maternal instincts kicked in as he rushed to the child's side, picking them up rather gently. He began to craddle them much like his mother had done to him as a child, humming a light melody as he did so. Meanwhile, Claus scoffed. So uncool.

The child yelps in shock, this random stranger quite suddenly rushing in out of nowhere to pick them up! After a moment, they calm a bit, looking up with big, teary eyes. “W-who’re you?”They speak quite roughly, their maturity and speech having been affected by the grey-face’s magic.

"Lucas? More like DORKas."

The blonde was momentarily offput by Claus' voice in his head, expression flickering to an irritated one for a brief moment.

Oh? Ooooh, that was a new face there. Chara felt themself already smiling like the creepy they were, also a a lot of concern, but it all came from Frisk inside of them, powerless and so weak. Chara like being in power and so with that strength, Chara shoved Frisk to the depth of their mind.

“Hellooo theree, paal~” The difficulty to speak from their host was still there and annoyed the hell of them, but if they alonged the words enough, they could say it more or less and it was easier than signing, that they didn’t know much about it yet. “Neew hereee?”

Claus drew his host's attention away from a blooming, yellow flower, semi-transparent and only visible to the young teen. He pointed at Chara, lazily leaning against the wall. "Someone wants your attention. ...Be careful."

Lucas blinked in confusion, bright blue eyes settling on Chara. "...Uh... Hi, bud...?" He could see what Claus meant now. Another human...? "N... No...? I mean, I've been here for a while..." He paused, grip tightening on his stick. "...Did you fall, too?"

There's this kid who calls himself Claus, and he's just sorta standing off to the side. He won't say anything more than his name. He looks a little dazed. ...I am too, to be frank.

...Oh, and there's this flower with a face. Which is, uh, gonna haunt my nightmares, no doubt. And I'm really hesitant about this, but I don't think there's any other choice but to talk to it...
