Ooc/Height head canon

I know Szayel has a canon height of 6’1 but something about that has never suited him in my head? I’ve always imagined him shorter? But I do believe he fits around the 5’9-5’10 mark. I feel that with how I write him being sickly in his human life that may have affected his height, that regardless of being yylfordt twin and now as arrancar the stronger of the two, he will always be far more meek and small. It’s good for people lowering their guard around him. If they think he isn’t a threat then it’s far easier for him to use that to his advantage.

6: What is my general opinion of my muses fandom about them? Do you agree with it?

I’m a little lost on this one but I’m guessing it’s about the general fandoms opinion on Szayel? It’s been a bit all over the place. There’s a few headcannons about him I despise but that’s just me being a bit specific. There’s some aspects of his canon I think should be followed. But yeah no shade to anyone that does stray from certain canon aspects I’m more ridged with? Idk this is a hard question to answer?

14: What’s an ideal AU for your muse?

Honestly I like canon divergent where Szayel survives. It’s just the most interesting for me to flesh out the most? It leads to more introspection from him and finding more value in himself more then just superficial aspects?

15: what interactions leave you feeling protective of your muse?

Verbal arguments and conflicts. When someone prods at his person rather then just attacking physically just gets to him… he is pretty self conscious deep down and he just doesn’t like that vulnerability so I almost wish he never got those moments because it has its own little affect on me but I also do enjoy those moments as well cause it helps flesh him out any more

He is just napping with his lovely Octava, holding him closer as he began to spread warm kisses all over the exposed skin, a big hand roaming under the pinkette's perfectly sculpted slim torso.

Szayel had spent another day hard at work on his research. Knowledge was an addiction to him, something he sought after at great lengths. The only issue is he generally neglected every other facet of his life when he got into these moods. He was thankful however for shunsuis intervention, having pulled him aside to simply rest. He was definitely anxious to continue his work, his mind ticking away, thoughts, ideas, concepts pertaining to his current research filling his head.

His thoughts however were interrupted by the kisses over his body, leaning into the touch. It brought him back to reality, brought him back to the tender shinigamis side. He couldn’t help but close his eyes and basked in the warm, comforting feeling on his cold, slender form.

“Thank you…” he said softly, leaning into the hands over his body, smiling at the gentle kisses. His arms now wrapped around his lovers broad shoulders, gripping him close as he let his very soul be filled by his lovers overwhelming warmth.

Uryuu takes him into his arms.  Szayel’s been pacing and it’s difficult for him to concentrate on the book he’s reading. But it’s not Szayel’s fault exactly. There’s been growing pains.  But at the very least, he can give him a little bit of comfort.  He rubs his back and strokes through his hair.  

“It’s okay.  I can just tell the resident Shinigami that he ‘missed a hollow’ and it damaged some powerlines.”  He presses a kiss to his forehead.  “He’ll take care of it.  Or maybe you could ask Urahara-san for a quick fix.  If he didn’t see it happen…there’s no reason why we need to tell him.”

He talks about the limiter and he remembers something.

“Shutara-san has a ‘permanent’ one on her person that she can undo as needed.  Perhaps you can ask her sometime how it’s made,” he says.  “After all, that’s how she keeps her arms sealed, and makes sure that even we aren’t sickened by her power if she needs to express it.”

Szayel goes to place a kiss on the mans jaw. Naturally uryuu has a far better idea on how to solve such an issue. He forgets in some ways that money does solve everything in this world. It’s been an awfully long time… although truthfully it was something that hadn’t slipped his mind completely. After all, when he was human committing the horrific crimes he did, sometimes people needed to be kept quiet… money was good at doing that and it’s something he and his twin frequently utilised.

“I more or less worry that your father felt me fire that cero in the vicinity of the damage. Even then I have no reason to doubt that he would blame me for any cero fired. He seems to want to pin the blame of every little thing that goes wrong on me… a single fly could enter the house and your father would blame it on me. He hates me and I know that for a fact. I frankly can picture him celebrating upon my death.” He rolled his eyes. The hatred between the two was mutual at least.

He nods once more to what he said. Admittedly he had considered bringing up the topic with shutara but something about that woman made his skin crawl. He wasn’t easily unsettled but perhaps it was that primal instinct to fear those that hunted his kind. Hollows whether they had their mask intact or not all still held that deep instinct to survive. It was a very similar feeling to that around the sternritter. That uneasy churning in his gut that every second he was a single attack away from death. One minor slip and he was in deaths door. He was rational however and he knew that shutara likely wouldn’t lay a hand on him unless provoked but unfortunately rationality couldn’t quell the primal instinct to survive.

“I have considered that actually. I’ve noticed it for some time now but frankly… I’m better off figuring out such a thing on my own. I have built a palace that limits reiatsu, no doubt I can make a small device that can do the same.” He explained rather simply, leaving out his own primordial fear for the sake of his own ego.

He didn’t dare admit however that he had made something similar before… something given to a friend of his… the bracelet used in the kidnapping of his dear and close companion orihime inoue.

Uryuu pats the couch next to him.

"Sit down, my father won't be home for a few hours."

He sighs, offering his hand.

Szayel had been pacing once again. Unfortunately the new living arrangement of the former octava was not going well. It wasn’t that he was unsatisfied being with uryuu and living in such close proximity it was more the growing pains of him adjusting to modern human society and the changes over the past few centuries but mostly, it was how furiously the arrancar and the elder Quincy clashed.

This most recent situation however was spurred on by an accident on the scientists behalf. With uryuu focusing on his studies in medical school Szayel was intending on helping in any way possible since he had so much free time now. Naturally that meant helping uryuu out in several ways. He was learning to cook in order to free up some of his lovers time, he was helping him with anything the man may get stuck on in his learning and finally, whilst uryuu was unable to hunt down hollows that terrorised karakura, Szayel offered to help. After all it was natural for a high ranking hollow to kill those beneath them for food.

He soon went to sit beside uryuu, taking his hand and leaning onto him. The mistake he had made while it was normal for this town that attracted destruction and violence because of its unique position being a jûreichi and the amount of hollows that subsequently attack, but knowing ryuuken and his vendetta against the former octava, this simple mistake could cost him a limb.

“I am… but I doubt I can guarantee that for long… as soon as your father discovers those damaged powerlines are the result of my cero…” he pinched the bridge of his nose with his free hand “I apologise greatly…. I forget that the infrastructure in the world of the living is less forgiving then that of hueco mundo…. Centuries of habit die slowly…” he sighed once again, closing his eyes briefly as he took comfort in the closeness of his beloved Quincy. “I ought to study those power seals shinigami use… create something like that for myself in order to avoid situations like this in the future… it can be done… but unfortunately it does not rectify past mistakes…” yet another sigh left his lips and he just embraced uryuu, the man who’s presence alone did nothing but ease him.
