So how long until the Ozempic class action lawsuit
I give it 3 to 5 years
As someone who's always been overweight and struggled to lose it, I get it. This drug comes along thats toted as a miracle drug and people online saying how well it worked for them, I get how so many people hop on board the semaglutide train, I really do. If i wasn't as at peace with my weight as I am now, id probably be working up the courage to ask my doctor for it.
(It took me a while to accept that im always going to be heavier because 1. Im 6ft 1 inch tall 2. Im an adult woman, some amount of fat is supposed to be there and 3. Beauty standards were never built around me or meant for me to achieve as a BW and im wasting time trying to)
But like, thats not what its for, theres people who need that for their health, not for losing weight.
Plus, idk when this stopped being taught to people, but if anything seems too good to be true, it probably is. This thing hasn't been studied on non diabetic patients, I think. And theres already horrific side effects being reported. Yeah every drug has side effects, even something as benign as aspirin, but this shit hasn't been studied long term for this use, how are people not more wary of that??
Im really not trying to blame these people for the side effects but at some point discretion has to be used.
Idk, I dont trust ozempic and drugs like it being used for weight-loss. Maybe there is a way for it to be use like that with minimal side effects, but i dont trust it, especially with how its being pushed.
