my biggest and only blue lock headcanon that is totally not indulgent at all is that the reason sae being a bitch on camera is because when he was 16/17 and started getting attention for his looks he appeared on one (1) ad because his manager and teammates kept insisting, and that was both his first and last ever brand deal because a week after it got released someone had left him a gift outside his apartment door.
it was a plushie he threw outside his window and a letter that still keeps him awake at night sometimes. someone he didn't even know of telling him that he was "the man of his dreams" (he was 16)
hahahahhs #saeangst ...sae doesn't have any other photoshoots apart of that one and even that one he begged to be deleted, of course, it's reposted enough that he practically can't have social media because the idea that someone figured out his adress just because they thought he was mildly attractive genuinely scared him. as you see, im a big fan of panicked sae :)
he's very private, always wearing hats outside and acts rude on purpose because he prefers people hating him than loving him (...) ik that this is probably superrr incorrect canonically and ooc but idc i love the idea of sae having panic attacks in his appartment and looking senselessly for a hidden camera that doesn't exist.
