hello, you might recognize me from this post i made on antiblackness or even from the flurry of posts ive made asking for help while i struggle to get my life together. i have been food and housing insecure for some years now and it’s the worst it’s ever been. i just started a new job that should pay well enough to keep me afloat if im careful. recently the community pulled together to help me cover the cost of an apartment, but i wasn’t able to find an affordable place on time and had to get a long term airbnb—i would have been homeless otherwise. i have to leave in mid september. if i save most of my paychecks for the coming weeks, i could probably cover rent, but i don’t have deposit money. i’ve put together a money pool and id really appreciate help. contributions big and small are appreciated—if all of my followers donated one dollar, i’d literally be like 1/4 of the way there.

i also have csh app and vnmo, where i’d be grateful to accept money for food and my bills while i save for a place. the bay area is cartoonishly expensive

hey ummm I wasn’t going to do this until my moms surgery but. we need help now with our plumbing/pipes and our sewage line is fucked up and we need completely new pipes. like there’s mold and raw sewage and everything under there. it’s bad. it’s going to cost between 3,000-5,000 and we just don’t have anything. my mom’s getting hip surgery next month and she’ll be out for 6 weeks so we don’t even have money for that. we literally are scraping by as is so anything helps, thank you
