Anyway - i like to periodically release songs for free since my album is taking so long and i make a lot of songs that i wouldn’t put on an album but i nonetheless enjoy so thats what this is.  

me and my step bro jay worthy make an annual christmas song with our siblings in order to avoid obligatory dinner. this is NOT a single from the upcoming album, not a serious piece of art in any capacity and not an official grimes release.  i suppose we’ve technicaly missed xmas but we made it ysterday so we didnt f inish the edit til today. 

also —made this song in prob less than 2 hours so please excuse my terrible production, + it is not mixed or mastered.  Also, everything good about this video was edited by mac and everything crappy was done by me.  also not color corrected at all. basically everyhing is really unprofessional

haha james just sent me this weird demo of go, considering the wackiness of the breakdown i assume this is the orig demo cuz we were extremely caffeinated that day 

in any case i dunno if its particularly different from the ‘final version’ but im always interested in hearing demo versions of things so i figured yall mite b.  i think we mighta mixed a bit of the soul out of it in retrospect,  i appreciate the absurdity of mike’s 2nd drop, the thicker snares in the intro etc.  its a bit more crowded 

also these are demo vocals for songwriting purposes only and they suck a lot so dont mind them.
