I’m scared
hey, can any Redwall fans help clear this up for me? The mice are always eating cheese but like…where does the milk come from…
whose being milked???????
They use “greensap milk,” so their milk is plant based! There’s a scene in Outcast of Redwall where the characters make cheese and it’s mentioned there.
They also mention any number of nut-based cheeses, and it is possible irl to make nut milk cheese. Although I’m struggling to find one that doesn’t have potato starch in it.
So...I was a big Redwall kid and have been revisiting the books recently. I made this side blog today in hopes of finding a place to engage with others about them.
If you know of any blogs that have a lot of Redwall content (including your own), I'd love to check them out! Thanks!
Mine is largely reblogged Redwall artwork and memes that either I or someone else made. Enter if your dare...
Feywild Honey Dice Set // gmdice
i want it
IT COMES WITH THE JAR
I have now acquired the Fey Dice.
Horse: Exists Me: Wait, how big is everything supposed to be again? Are these mice actual size, or what? I mean, that’s a realistic, non-anthropomorphic horse, but all of the other animals at least talk and do human things... And to this day, I’m still not sure how big everything is supposed to be in relation to each other in these books. All because of a horse that appears for how many pages? Less than ten, maybe? XD
The horse throws everything into chaos!
We Do Not Discuss The Horse
A five-day virtual cookery course which revisits the collection of 12th-century sauces, is being staged from 4-8 October 2021.
It's dice posting hours
People need to stop making such pretty dice or I'm going to start make some Very Bad financial decisions.

[Text ID : Watercolor painting in sepia tones of a very fluffy looking black, bitty bunny with shortish but alert ears, sitting upright on its back legs. The bunny wears a collar/shawl of scale mail that covers from throat to the bottom of the shoulders and holds a morning star (spiked ball on a chain, attached to the end of a long stick), the shaft angled across its body. It looks sweet and deadly. /end text]

Honey, pineapple, and sunshine for the yellow asks
honey- what is your favorite term of endearment?
In general I like the use of "hun", but I almost never use any kind of term of endearment irl. It's just not something I really got used to.
pineapple- if you could take a vacation anywhere in the world right now, where would you go and why?
Anywhere, huh... Probably a forest somewhere, far away from people. Somewhere peaceful and green, near water. Quiet. Somewhere that I can actually let myself think.
And I already answered for sunshine!
