About the chocolate you are right its a bit bitter now that I think (the dark one particularly) ... I forget to mention that chocolate is the kind you use to put in your hot milk or to melt and make a dessert with... (but also I love to eat it just in bars so that’s what I though when I sent it to you) I’m kind of curious how is the chocolate from other places

Your inner tube owl is amazing... and also seems a bit crazy definitely the kind of owl that I would have in my room to make me company. Also don’t know why the second photo (collar?) mades me remember to some clothe of black panther movie (ironically another movie that I didn't saw) I don’t know it looks so cool

So what’s in my photo? in February I was experimenting with how to recycle paper.... and now I have a giant block of pulverised paper that I should take care of and at least try to recycle.... omg

Hi, I’m alive! first and most importantly... how was the chocolate? 😅

The handling of the virus was a surprise, I was just starting school and then suddenly classes were postposed first to march 30 and now until April 14, yea around March 12 our government said the same (it was a bit funny how a week before that when precautions begun and the government just found the first covid case the people wanted the renounce of the health minister like.. just for having the first case from an Argentinian coming from Italy) ... the 19 they announced a general quarantine just like yours until maybe April 12

Hopefully my parents came to visit me the 18 and they drove me to home so I'm passing this quarantine with them and my sist.. I still haven't hot any school assignment, the whole classes are being modified, next week I’ll know how virtual classes are going to be.

The first is a photo of my room in my parents house, you can see a little Darwin looking at me, and also my piano and guitar which I’m very bad at!

I'm sure you are right now better with the ukulele than me with the guitar! keep practicing. Also it’s so nice you are having fun with your housemate, especially with the situation right now, company is the most valuable thing.

Here we are only allowed to go out for essential things, like buying food, medicine or having a justification... also you can walk your pet but not for so long

we will see how much this last...

So I was interested in Karel Appel since you mentioned him and looked trough his wikipedia entry... and I think I found the exterior of your theatre!!! (and that's why the second photo) curiously it was in the Spanish entry (the dutch entry was really really complete with more photos of his work but no Rotterdam theatre).... when I first saw it I was like “well Nio is in that city maybe it could be, I wonder how much theatres did he intervined?” and then I was comparing both photos and looking the glass patterns and finally realised wow THIS COULD BE

Soooo… how’s your country handling the virus.

It first started on March 12 when the government announced that events with over a hundred people are cancelled. To me that meant that my internship was down. And then the following Sunday (March 15) all restaurant, schools, sport clubs, children’s day care and other entertainment places like cinemas closed.

I still have some school assignment and other than that I can finish the trousers at home. I have been bonding with my housemate, which is nice, and I bought a Ukelele, I always wanted to learn that and now seemed the perfect timing with all this time on my hand.

we're still allowed to go outside but with a distance of 1,5 meters between each other.

The government said these measurements will last till the 6th of April, but I think it’s going to last longer…. but we’ll see

The picture is a picture of the theatre I have/had my internship, when the hour is right, and the sun shines you get these beautiful colours in the foyer.

It’s a wall designed by Karel Appel and was revealed in 1970, so you can reckon that this building is pretty old.

AAAHH I love the playing cards, I was pretty confused when I opened the letter and found cards in them. Our common cards are the black onces at the bottom, heart – spades – diamonds – clubs (okay my cards are black because I like different decks of cards :P)

Fun thing is, I always try to carry a deck of cards in my bag, you never know :P

I really loved reading your letter, at least you remembered when we started sending each other letters hehe.

In Dutch we sometimes say: “meer dan de best kan je niet doen” basically meaning, you’re doing the best you can.

You say that to someone who’s having a competition or exams. and with them saying that, they know you’re going to do the best you can and believe in you.

I haven’t tried the chocolates yet; I’ll give you my review once I ate them :P

I could say that I’m like you..... summer really passed so fast.... I was thinking in writing your response but I got this Chemistry final exam... I’m studying as I can (you don’t imagine how easy is for me to distract haha) .... I hope I could be prepared for the Thursday(final exam day) if I feel that I’m not at least I can choose another day in the future but that would be baaaad for my head and the other subjects.... but also I want a good grade instead of some simple “passed” ... anyway Probably Friday I’ll tell you how everything went! , I’m sure you will finish your task for the plays super well.... and those trousers I’m sure they will be awesome keep me posted! I hope postal service is still working like always ?)

I know I'm not active, sorry about that. I'm currently busy with my internship at a youth theater, costume department. And just finished my third week. Most of the play's are mostly finished so I'm mostly doing repair and adjustment work and if someone needs something last second they come to us. Butt mid/end of March I'll be involved with a play/production from the beginning. What you see in the picture. I'm making a basic trouser pattern based on my measurement, once that's done I need to make a sample piece of it, to find out if I need it to adjust it further to my wishes: longer shorter, tighter etc. It's a whole process but once the base is perfect, I can make almost any kind of pants and it will fit me :) Hope you're doing alright, I love the blooming cactus, they're so pretty!

I forget to tell you... the cactus bloomed!

So this was my dinner table last night, wasn’t exactly vegetarian as I would like to.... but well.... at least it was fresh (christmas in summer here hehe)

So a little story behind this picture.

I was kinda sick and didn’t really want to go to school, but as soon as I walked out the door I was treated with this beautiful morning scenery :)

So as you can see, I have in my hands now ... or more precisely my wrist?? By the way you can also see the wrapping of the stroopwafel that I by no means completely ate at the first sight without reading your recommendation of dip it into a cup of tea or coffee .... sooo maybe I’ll try it next time?)

Anyways it was really tasteful, and I really noticed the caramel as something really curious!

so this is a book about little stories that at first they doesn’t seem to be related at all, is a book of stories of science or better, a book of stories of the people who make science, not scientist but, just people and that is why is so cool it’s because it remembers me how we are all together in the same world trying to live it at it best, maybe that is why I fell those stories are at the end related Maybe it’s just a matter of seeing how we can relate our lives with others that we never thought we could relate with.. It’s so cool that your letter arrive so perfectly it seems postal system still works fine ahah, I took a time to write it cause I wanted to send more things and I didn’t knew what.... for example I was thinking to send you a type of rosette like the French one of Les Miserables, but blue and white here it represent our independence and it’s all over the public places (photo).... anyways in other notices I’m finishing my mail now that I have time to write 3 hours in a row
