Then, pray tell, what’s your explanation? Keeping in mind that I am, of course, a violetblood, and the image is tinted a blue or even teal color. And that the filter is applied to my fins as well.

And do note the first image included on this post too, seeing what I look like without the regular filter.

First off, it it wwas a filter like the cat ears, it wwould have a different look, as it wwould probably be the same color. Second, there is a clear indication that you have changed significantly betwween those twwo images, as A: from wwhat I can tell, you are wwearing a different main outfit, and B: your sign placement is different. So, it's fairly reasonable to say that, wwhatever happened, the butterfly wwings wwould potentially be a showw of that. On top of that, the wwings, unlike the cat ears, have perspective, meaning if they wwere drawwn on, they wwould require significant effort, something I suspect you wwouldn't really do here. Especially as you didn't account for perspective in the cat ears.

Have you never layered filters? It’s quite simple, really. A violet cat-eared filter can be layered atop a teal butterfly filter.

Also, I change my clothes every day. Don’t you? Of course I have different outfits in images.

As for sign placement? I have a tattoo. It wouldn’t be visible if I wore a sweater, which is why I also have a necklace with my sign. It didn’t change. Once again, it’s just fashion.

If you’d like to argue perspective, there are plenty 3D filters that are commonplace. It’s physically impossible for me to have butterfly wings and fins after all.

I don't think we are done here just yet, there's still a simple matter to contend with.

AI, surely you must understand that butterfly wings are a cullable mutation, correct? And that no such grubs even make it out of the caverns, much less to adulthood.

Frankly, it's a rather stupid claim to make, especially without evidence. I can personally attest to CC having no such wings, as I've actually met him in real life, and I know for a fact you haven't.
