Blurryface isn’t just Tyler’s struggle. We all have our own Blurryface. He hides away in the darkness hoping to drag us down. We could scream as loud as we want but it won’t translate to sound. The Battles we fight are internal. We wage war on ourselves, leaving scars behind. They are the marks of battles won and lost…because even victories are shallow. We walk away wounded because to defeat Blurryface is to defeat ourselves..we are Blurryface. We are insecure and we care what people think. We all have our doubts and ours souls are heavy. The darkness clings to us, it calls us in with a welcoming numbness and we have to chose to fight or we give in. We let Blurryface win and before we realise it we’re too gone to be saved, there’s no one around to catch us, to bring us back from the abyss and it’s not until it’s too late that we realise that just like Tyler, we have two faces. But we let Blurry become who we are. He was too inviting and we never could have took him out. We were already gone. Fear won. Peace lost.

That’s the facts of this. Unless of course we say no more. We stand up and we take courage. We fight the battle until we extinguish the fire of hate burning us up from inside. We wage war with the dark parts of ourself, we can’t let ourselves be gone. We can’t let fear win. When there’s no one to catch us we catch ourself. We give ourself the Strength to over come Blurryface. Yes we leave the battle with scars but the victory won’t be sallow because Blurryface is gone. He won’t be there to take the pride out of defeating him. Peace can win. We don’t have to accept that Blurryface will always be crowned the victor. We are Blurryface, and so we can defeat him. Peace will win, fear will lose. We won’t be gone, someone will catch us.
