it's like they're using it as a marketing ploy to get people to either play their game or give up on their game and it's not clear XD

Yep, and there's the issue that they're teenagers and even pre-teens, so they don't have much maturity to deal with it. But even so, they should know that doing that is really messed up.

Even I, who am 16 years old and autistic, know that this is not a good thing to do.
