Puffing out her cheeks, Lettie squinted at him as she reached up to poke him sternly in the nose. “I always do, you know I do, and it embarrasses me when you ask.” she replied with a huff, face slightly reddened as she let her finger linger against his shirt before letting her arm drop to her side.

He bend down and let her kiss his forehead. God, how he’s missed this, how he’s missed her. Why did he leave this behind? He’s been working too hard, he really needs to learn to relax. Of course the huge work load from his employers didn’t help either.

He gave a small devilish grin, the one the warned her he had an idea that was no good. He wrapped his arms around her waist,  lifted her up, and spun around a couple of times before kissing her cheek.

Squealing in surprise, Lettie gripped his arms tightly as she was sudden lifted off her feet and into the air. No matter how many time Jasik did this, it never failed to catch her off guard. She laughed as he set her back down and kissed her cheek, her hands coming up to fix her hair. “You’re so silly, Jasik.”

He gave a small smile when she poked his nose. God how he’s missed this, missed her. “Oh? How is it embarrassing?”

he asks before grabbing her falling hand to give it a gentle kiss. “I think it’s rather adorable.”

“You would.” She hummed warmly, turning her hand to graze her fingertips along his cheek as Lettie tried to stifle the fluttering feeling his lips left against her skin. 

Hand pressing more firmly against his face, it rested there for a moment before slipping down to his shirt and grasping it firmly. Smiling sweetly at him, she tugged gently on the fabric as she pulled his face closer to his, placing a soft kiss on his forehead.

Ignoring his first question, Lettie gave him an apologetic smile as she licked the ice cream off her lips. “I’ve never seen you eat ice cream so the thought didn’t cross my mind. Do you even eat sweets?” She’d seen him drink plenty of coffee and Monster or Red Bull or whatever but she couldn’t remember him eating ice cream… or anything sweet for that manner. Besides, she couldn’t even think of anything he would like- off the top of her head, he seemed like a sorbet kind of guy. “You won’t be working la-” She paused. “okay well maybe you will be but you can stop and hang out with me!” She stood up slightly to scoot her chair close to him, resting her chin on her hand and giving him a sweetly pleading look. “Pweese?”

Of course I like sweets. Who doesn’t like sweets? He has an enormous supply of chocolate in his bottom dresser drawer. He just stuffs his face when he needs a sugar high and nothing resembling an energy drink is around.

Of course, he usually gets himself sick, but that’s a different story.

“Because I’m just a baby.” Lettie replied, only half serious but the other half was incredibly so. Not that she was necessarily completely on the straight and narrow but she tended to avoid parties- too many people, too many bodies more specifically, and too much opportunity for shenanigans. However, on the way back there’d been a guy passing out fliers for something called a bubble party? All she knew was that there were colorful lights on the fliers and the fact that there were bubbles involved meant it couldn’t be too bad, right? “And also, it’ll be weird if I show up by myself.”

“It’s not that big of a deal,” Gina assured the guy that had run into her, which caused the cup she was carrying to spill over her shirt. “It’s just water. It’ll dry.”

Nodding in agreement, he felt quite relieved that he hadn’t inconvenienced her too terribly. “I’m Chance,” he introduced himself awkwardly, stepping slightly out of the way of a man who evidently didn’t appreciate them standing in the middle of the sidewalk.

“Gina,” she replied, giving him her name. “Maybe we should get out of the way. We are kind of…”

Someone slammed into her, sending her back. The person didn’t even stop to apologize. Gina got up.

“Well, how rude. I…”

She felt around her pockets, sensing that something was missing. “I’ve been pickpocketed!”

Chance eyed the guy as he walked past hastily, turning back to her with a hand ready to help her up but froze at her words. “Son of a-” Looking searchingly over his shoulder to see if the culprit had gotten far and debating whether or not to chase him down, he cursed himself as he made eye contact with him which launched him into a sprint and quickly out of sight. “What an awful inconvenience I’ve caused you.” he grumbled apologetically, bowing slightly at the waist towards her for a moment before looking up at Gina with a determined expression. “Please, anything I can do to help I’ll do.”

Lettie gasped as Mercy screaming out her name, dipping down to kiss her neck and chest as she felt her sink into the bed. “I’m not sure what comes after this..” she mumbled truthfully, pulling her fingers from inside her and wiping the cum onto her thigh. I hope you weren’t on your way somewhere important.” Frowning a bit to himself, he reached into the bag hanging at his hip and pulled out a wad of napkins he had left over from lunch.

“I’m just going home,” she explained to the other. “Things like this happen from time to time.” It was better than being mugged or something. She took the napkins he handed her and started to wipe of some of the water. “It wasn’t a full cup, so there’s not too much…”

Chance’s leg bounced anxiously as he waited for his date to arrived, her fingers fiddling shakily with the buttons on his jacket. ‘God this is gonna be so awkward…’ He thought with a sigh, forcing himself to calm down at he checked the time again. He’d been waiting there for about fifteen minutes, thinking that arriving early might ease his worries about this “date”- blind date, to be exact. He thought he’d order a coffee, listen to the music, do some people watching, and by the time the girl got there, he’d be more relaxed. His thoughts turned to Erik, a friend of his, who had suddenly announced that it was his turn to find him a girlfriend and that he had set something up for him. Used to this from his silly, but earnest friends, he dutifully showed up to the place from the text and waited. Taking a deep breath, he wondered if he had time to go to the bathroom before he felt someone standing over him. Looking up, he locked eyes with a woman that fit the description his friend had given him. “H-Hello.” He said softly, clearing his throat as he quickly looked away.

“Hi” Beyond smiled back at the guy she had allowed her friends to set her up with, as she sat at the table across from him. She had to admit he was pretty cute, maybe this experience wouldn’t be as bad as she first thought.

She too had her doubts about meeting a complete stranger, at the very annoying prompting of her friends Misa and Naomi. They had said for weeks that she “Needed a man” just as the two of them had. Beyond herself didn’t see the appeal of it, especially after the disaster that her last relationship was, still she agreed to go and meet the guy. “What could it hurt?” She asked herself as she checked herself in the mirror one last time before leaving the house.

“I’m Chance.” He replied quickly, sitting up straight and smoothing his slightly rumbled shirt. Well now she wasn’t as scary as he thought she’d be, and didn’t look nearly as odd as her name implied. Mentally chiding himself for having judged her prematurely, he smiled politely at her before motioning to the small drink menu laying on the table. “Please, allow me to buy you a drink,” Chance offered, waving the waiter over. “The tea lattes are pretty good.”
