Cam shook his head. “It’s not crazy,” he told her. “It sounds like something everyone should do when it comes to situations they can’t control.” And it also seemed like something useful when they’re about to get into some really horrible or good situations, so they can know what they were heading themselves into. “Well I’m going to be a wine bar owner, so that would make me have a lot of scenarios myself, some of them not good.”
“I’ve always wanted to go to California, but never had a chance to,” he admitted with a little chuckle. “Maybe when I get a little break I can take a trip down there in order to explore it and have me a ball down there.”
“I like being in control. Which is hard when it comes to having a toddler. I throw my control out the door and do whatever I need to for her. But when I’m at work, everything is how I want it to be and there’s no room for change. That’s where I put my crazy Type A personality so that I’m not crazy when I’m at home with Flo. I think she is taking after me in that aspect. She can be a little demanding,” she smiled as she ran a hand through the wavy hair. “Hopefully you don’t have to deal with getting hurt or breaking up anything bad. Greta needs her dad completely healthy and able to play with her,” Berry nodded.
“It’s gorgeous. We lived all around the country when I was a child until I was in middle school, so I got to see a lot of different places. We are kind of a hippie family and traveled instead of staying in one place,” Berry admitted, giving a small shrug. “Yes, you will need to. It’s so much fun to go to. I still feel like I’m finding new things in San Fran and I lived there.”

“Excuse me, do you mind if I take your picture?” he asked as he ran up to the other with his camera around in his hands. “Where you are and the lighting is perfect and don’t worry, I can not photograph your face.”
Taking her daughter to the park on a somewhat decent day for winter in New York, Berry smiled as she followed the toddler. Hearing someone speak, the brunette looked up, giving a small shrug. “Um, sure. I don’t do good with pictures, though, so I don’t know what you want us to do.”

Cam nodded. “Then I guess I gotta prepare for it-because once the first snowflake falls, I’ll be hitting the stores to stack up,’ he joked, even though it true. Each time a bad snowstorm or even snow came to the south, nearly everyone would go to the store and get everything they needed, including milk, eggs, and bread like it was going out of style. “I actually did that once, over analyzed everything until I was actually kicked out of the place.” he said with a chuckle.
“Oh god-are they bad like the ones back home?” he couldn’t help but to ask just thinking about it, having to stay inside and never going out ever again. ‘Then the weather would be better for more outdoor things-or sometimes escaping somewhere else, like maybe Florida or somewhere colder and less humid.”
“I overanalyze every little thing. i was always that person who thought up of every scenario possible and know what I would do in each situation. Which sounds crazy, but I’m normal, I swear. Being a psychologist puts me in that analyze brain,” she smiled softly as she nodded. “I did it as a kid, though, too, so I guess it’s not my job.”
“It’s not horrible. I can handle it back home. It’s a good cold. Not the freezing cold, but cold enough to feel it and warm enough for you not to panic about it,” she smiled in thought. “Florida would be nice. Or Southern California. SoCal is seriously seventy five degree weather year round and it’s amazing.”

“I do, don’t I?” he asked with a little laugh as he listened to her story. “I do get along with her, and I don’t wanna ruin the date talking about it-maybe on our second date?” Cameron said with a bit of hope in his tone. “I think you’re doing great, and I might be the awkward one. Talking my mouth off is a talent I have, but date conversations? Not really good at,” he admitted with a little laugh.
He nodded. “I’m from Atlanta, and I don’t think that I’m going to get used to this weather at all, neither. It can’t make up it’s mind, and in Georgia the weather is easy-if it’s cold in the winter, it’ll be hotter in the summer. If it’s hotter in the summer, it’ll be really cold in the winter, with rain in between.”
“It’s only going to get worse. You’re in for it,” she smiled at him as she paused for a moment. “A second date would be nice. I would like that a lot, actually,” Berry bit her bottom lip with a smile, giving him a small nod. “Oh, I usually just switch over to my work brain and start to overanalyze someone, which is probably the worst possible thing to do on a date. It’s just not something I think people want to hear. Unless they are a patient, anyway,” she gave an innocent shrug, covering her mouth in embarrassment.
“I knew there was a small Southern accent in you. I couldn’t place where, but I could hear it. San Fran is the same way. It’s a pretty solid weather schedule and I was hoping New York would be similar, but apparently New York likes to change it’s mind more than I change clothes. Which says a lot, because I never know what to wear,” she pointed, with a smile. “The summers here are hella humid, too. I’m more used to a dry heat than humidity, so that was fun to experience, also.”

“Apparently not!” He chuckled. “Hi, Flo! There’s my little buddy!” He scooped Flora out of Berry’s arms, grinning. “Hungry? I made all kinds of yummy food. And veggies you’ll actually like!” Calvin came walking into the room, sniffing at Berry’s feet. “How’s everything? Let me grab a shirt.” He put Flora back in Berry’s arms, tossing on an old jean shirt hanging from a kitchen chair.
“This is my middle child syndrome showing. My big brother forgets what I told him,” she shook her head with a smile as she handed the child over to her uncle. “She likes all veggies. Although, I’m starving, so I can’t wait to eat.” Taking Flora back for the moment, she set the toddler down, letting the child wander around the apartment. “It’s good. Just work and being with her. I don’t live an interesting life, we both know that.”

He nodded, his mind thinking about his little girl. “Yeah they do,” Cameron said, agreeing with her. “It is, I mean, I just stare at her, and I just don’t wanna leave her, not once,” Cameron said thoughtfully. “I just want to stay there with her all the time and never, ever leave her, but her mom would kick me out so I can go and wait till the next time I get to see her.” And he wanted to, so bad, just to stay there and never, ever leave-well, until Milla either kicks him out or picks her up.
“Nah-it’ll be the fifth billion time she’ll see her,” he answered. “And I already know that she’ll bring gifts and toys and takes over while I want to spend as much time with her as I can.”
“Oh, you have it bad. Although my child now gives me attitude and told me this morning that I look uggy. And she’s my mini me, so that was a little rough to hear. Slightly insulted by that,” she laughed shaking her head. “Amazing things that toddlers think of to say.” Tilting her head at the one statement, the brunette looked at him. “Do you not get along with her mom? I mean, you don’t have to answer if you don’t want to. If you answer, I might go all psychologist on you and we don’t need me ruining a date because of that,” she spoke quickly, giving an innocent smile. She didn’t realize how unusual dating was until this moment, rubbing her lips, slightly embarrassed. “I promise I’m not this awkward. I just haven’t gone on a date in a long while, so the whole date convo thing is not a talent I have.”
“Oh, that’s so cute. I want to make a trip to California to see my parents and my sister, but I don’t know when I’ll be able to with how work is. I miss California and the fact that it’s warmer there than here. I am never going to get used to this weather. At all,” Berry smiled at him.
If you could say one thing to your brother, what would it be?
Thank you for being the best person ever and always being there by my side through the good and bad. @orion-boyd
When was the last time you had sex?
Oh god. It’s been a long while. Almost desperate, but not there yet.

“Yikes. Just seeing promos, I made sure to keep Penny clear of it, too. A lot of these characters are getting that CGI uncanny valley treatment and it just leaves me wondering why? Is it cheaper? Probably..” He shook his head, all the same, in disappointment of whoever’s decision that was. Grinning as he pictured the little umbrella now for the toddler. “Mmmh, Penny’s not too interested in Mary Poppins. Either. I am a fan of the classic and, personally, haven’t seen the new one yet. I’m afraid like tat Beauty and the Beast remake, it’ll try ruining the perfection of it’s predecessor.”
“Probably. It’s just horribly creepy and I stick to the cute shows like Doc and Sofia. She liked Elena of Avalor, too, but that show doesn’t air anymore. I found it on some app and she liked that show, too,” Berry nodded in agreement with a smile. “The movie is twenty five years forward from the original and I actually liked how they made it that way. You got to see Jane and Michael as adults and how they are still similar to what they were like as kids. They really picked the perfect actors to be Jane and Michael. That’s what made me like it.”
orion-boyd:
“Oh hey- I thought you were coming over in an hour! Is it 7 already? Shit, time got away from me. I’ve been cooking this really good chicken and veggie dish. Hope you’re hungry!”
“Oreo, I told you that we were coming before that. Don’t you listen to me?” The younger sister pouted as she held the toddler in her arms. “We’re starving. I told Flo we are going to uncle Ori and she got all excited.”

“That’s not a bad thing. She’ll probably be the type to always be aware of her surroundings, which can be a good thing,” she grinned. “She sounds like a smart kid.”
“I hope so. She at least makes me be aware of her surroundings all the time, so there’s that,” Berry let out a small laugh. “I like to think so, but every parent thinks that, don’t they?”

“That sounds really interesting. Looking into minds and stuff like that.” Not that Evan could ever handle a profession like that. “Pff, Scott, my younger brother, was like that. Only a year younger than me but we were so damn different in that regard. He’s the most introverted of us all and was always into his books while me and my other bro were running around like crazy and the girls were off doing their thing, too. Not that books are a bad thing.” Wanting to make sure she knew he wasn’t insulting her so much as contrasting his own personality against her’s. “Wait, the CGI one like they did with Mouse House?” Cringing, he let it be known he agreed with her on that one. “You just can’t beat the hand drawn cartoons, man. That movie, though…” It was then he clutched at his heart. “That got to me on a real deep level. I love it so much.”
“It can be. It’s not always too interesting,” the brunette shrugged as she took a deep breath. “I loved books. I wasn’t introverted, per say, but I definitely much rather have had a book than talk to someone. I liked learning and that obviously played a role in the career I have now. Always learning in this career,” Berry rested her weight on her hands as she looked over at him, giving a nod. “Yeah. Completely destroyed it. I refuse to let Flo watch it. It just creeps me out way too much.” Smiling, the brunette nodded. “It might be one of my new favorite movies, actually. I took her to see the new Mary Poppins, but she didn’t enjoy it as much as I was hoping she would. She loves the original, though. I bought her a white umbrella for her to pretend.”

He nodded. “Yep,” he answered. Greta was his whole entire world, and he would do anything for her. “It is, and if I get a chance to see my little girl then my day get a little brighter,” Cameron said as his thoughts turned to his daughter. “She’s six months old, about to turn seven months and she’s just…” he placed a hand over his heart as he kept thinking about her. “Awe man, I know the feeling. She’s with her mom right now and I miss her like crazy.”
“She already got my mom whipped-she always asking me about her granddaughter and wants to come down to see her,” he said with a chuckle. “In fact, she already made plans to come to town soon to see her.”
Berry couldn’t help but smile as she watched him talk about his daughter, the brunette knowing that she probably looked and sounded the same when she talked about hers. “Oh, that’s the best time. When they can’t talk, but they show their personality. And they can’t run from you. Which is my problem right now,” she let out a small laugh as she rubbed her lips for a moment. She couldn’t help but feel slightly jealous that Greta had both parents. Flora didn’t have her dad and Berry hated it, even though it was better off. “Flo doesn’t have a dad, so it’s really just her and I. Probably why when I do things, it’s harder for us to separate. She’s my best friend.”
“Oh, my parents skype us weekly. And my mom sends packages a lot for Flora. I think they want to come here, but completely avoid winter, so they are waiting. Which, kind of sucks because Flora’s birthday is coming up, but I don’t blame them. At all,” she smiled as she gave a nod. “That’s exciting though. Is this going to be the first time she will be meeting her?”
