I’ve just started taking a taxi to a point near my house and forgoing the okada to my house, now I walk the way. Today, it was raining and I offered to share my umbrella with a babe that was bearing the rain. We got into the a really lovely discussion about how unfair her open university is being, about the wickedness of tertiary institutions, about her experience and opinions on youth education (she’s a nursery school teacher). I really love speaking to strangers and being of help in any way I can.

I first offered to share with a secondary school student, but she understandably declined.
