Director Andrei Tarkovsky was a great admirer of photography. He created some kind of a “photo-diary”: he shot his family, everyday life, places he travelled to. 

Sometimes Tarkovsky used his photos to imagine settings for his movies.

Mind Picture

So when you think of Roxette, what picture comes in your mind? I mean what does Per and Marie look like? And that is the picture in the first second of hearing the word “Roxette” randomly, without any particular reason.

From the early era, mid era or current era?

(The mid era particularly consists of 3 kinds, but you get my point, right?)

I’m sure it’s the first one.

The early era, where Per had spiky black hair and Marie with her high up parted short blond hair.

I guess it’s pretty natural to get a picture of a band from their best era.

I mean, you’re probably gonna remember Backstreet Boys from a time when Nick Carter had ear length hair, or particularly The Beatles, one always ALWAYS has 4 boys wearing suits in their mind picture.

Do let me know about your picture of Roxette. I’m sure, even a crazy freaking fan who follows every move of their favourite band, somehow pictures them this way. Yeah, maybe.
