5 Compelling Reasons to Go to #ADateWithXian
Xian Lim is the kind of guy you would only dream of having a
date with. Well, time to rejoice because that dream is turning into a reality -
sort of. The Chinito Heartthrob will finally have his first major
solo concert this July 9 (a few days before his actual birthday on
July 12) at the Kia Theater. Entitled #ADateWithXian, the show
will feature Alco Guerrero as director and Chino David as music
arranger. Joining the fun also are his special guests for the night - Abra, Richard Poon, Morisette Amon and of course, Kim Chiu.
So what can we look forward to seeing in his concert apart from falling more in love with him? :)
1. Xian’s a legit musician
Your dude can play the guitar and piano? How cute. Did you know that Xian is not only great at playing the guitar and piano but can play a total of 17 musical instruments? Trombone, ukulele, xylophone, cello, harmonica and all those instruments you probably haven't heard of. It's no wonder that he has performed alongside great acts like the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra and Ryan Cayabyab. Not everyone can do classical stuff, you know. Xian's not just a pretty face who can sing, this dude's the real deal.
Xian admits that he’s quite nervous about dancing and knows this is isn’t his turf. But, he’s up for the challenge nonetheless. What’s important is he’s having fun and he’s fun to watch. Isn’t he adorable as the awkward dancer that he is? :)) He’s been rehearsing his moves a lot so watch out Rayver! LOL jk.
We always see Xian doing ballads or dreamy love songs. Now, we get to see his other side as he shows us that he can rap too. Famous rapper Abra will be part of Xian's concert. In his latest Magandang Buhay guesting, he shared the stage with him and gave us a sample of his mad rap skills. A guy who serenades and raps at the same time? Count me in!

His voice, guys. Makes you feel safe and warm, makes you fall in love. It’s good for the soul, good for the heart, it moves you, it stays with you. Bonus that the one singing the songs is good for the eyes too.
All Xian’s guests are great but the real stand out is of course, his lady love, Kim Chiu. During her concert last April, a series of magical moments happened including this one. I wonder what they will be doing this time around. One thing’s for sure, there will be a lot of kilig and happy crying once these two step onstage. Oh July 9, hurry up already! :))
