Through the waters, Adella swam restlessly. The last thing she wanted to do was go back down there. It really wasnt fair. Tamara could go out and Ariel lived outside. She had the right to come to the surface every now and then, didnt she? She loved the way she could...

Adella splashed with her tail and tried not to make herself pout. Sometimes she hated how bratty she could actually get. Finally she calmed down, trying to get herself away from feeling self-pity and then she noticed a girl, a small slim figure in barely in the water. Humans always attracted her. They were all just so fascinating. She knew she was already late for some sort of meeting her father had arranged but that did not stopped her from swimming nearer towards the shore.

She had the right to come to the surface every now and then, didnt she? She loved the way she could swim freely, and how she was never hot from the sun or had rainy days. But that was part of being human, the good and the bad. It was a perfectly balanced world. Down there, every minute of every day was planned for her, and she hated it.  You aren't human, she thought to herself, silly.

*Adella laughs* Not when you have a grumpy father ordering you around and  five other sisters to handle *she rolled around so she was facing Tamara upside down playfully* Besides I think I have already met every single one of the mermen down there. Not one of them can keep up with me, you know what i mean?

They are all so sloppy and smelly and frankly do not know how to talk to a girl. *she makes a gagging noise* Soo *she grins* how are humans? I mean, you know, how does it feel to be with…Edmund, was it?

I’m actually not a mermaid… Im a siren. We can change from fins to leg anytime we want. The thing is. We dry up if we stay on land to long…
