Thinking about this more and I just realised that they (read: Xanxus) literally set a schedule to give the tenth gen some room and/or time to improve and Squalo (like the overbearing person he is lmao) heard Takeshi lost so he went ahead.

No wonder Xanxus was taking his time eating and not answering calls, he set the date and everything already. I wouldn’t either if I already put it on my calendar.

Teenage XS, two young boys full of ambition making a promise together, just to realize it will never become true, not because they don't have the ability to - but because they just couldn't, the fate would not allow that.

Squalo who said "I couldn't save him again" he was blaming himself for full 8 years, just to watch Xanxus suffer the same fate while he wasn't able to do anything, when he finally thought he was strong enough.

The wiki says that Xanxus and Squalo are the only ones in the Varia with O-type blood, that is, if we go by the info from the latest information booklet.

The old one has him at 193cm and A type… but that would make him the same height as Levi when in all the art and the anime he is a bit shorter- yes even in tyl. 188cm make more sense to me rather than 193cm.

Hence O-type blood.

This just made them weirder for me… wym you're the only ones in your group who can donate to each other (and obv to everyone else as well but they can't receive)
