"Oooh. Is it like taking care of your hair?" Amelia asks, completely serious.

"Th-thank you!" She gently pet the woman’s ears, smiling all the while. "I like your ears.."

          “You’re welcome! Glad you like them, too. Soft, aren’t they?”

Amelia: If you think of it, Hyuga and I could eat just about anything.. and planets are the biggest thing, right? So we'd technically be planets.

"Um.. Yes please! I-If you don’t mind, of course!"

        She leans down a little so the girl could pet her ears. “Here ya go.”

"Th-thank you!" She gently pet the woman's ears, smiling all the while. "I like your ears.."

"……." She basically was trying to reach and pet the other’s ears. Because Beasts are cute and Amelia likes them.

        “Oh how cute! You want to pet my ears don’t you?”

"Um.. Yes please! I-If you don't mind, of course!"

"It is. I love it very much." Amelia looked over her shoulder. "Page 14 is where everything really begins. The prologue isn’t worth reading."

      “Is it?” Ana blinked and skipped to page 14 of the book. “Nothing important to read with the prologue, is there?” A smile formed on her face.

"Nope. It's just long and boring. Mainly about the world. The good stuff happens in chapter 2." Amelia sat in Ana's lap. "We can read like this."

Amelia gave a nod, smiling all the while. “Yes! It is. It’s the first book Hyuga gave me.. I wore it out a little.” She gestured to the obviously worn cover. The title was faded on the front, but the side clearly stated: “Crimes of the Everlasting Meadow”.. an adventure/horror book.

         Crimes of the Everlasting Meadow? Sounds quite like a very good read. “I see. It must be really good then!” Ana flipped to the first page. “The title sounds interesting, no less.”

"Yaay!" Amelia looked so happy, handing over the book to Ana. "It’s a really good book. I used to read it all the time in school. It’s got really cool adventures!"

        Ana laughed a little. She admired this girl’s enthusiasm to read. “Is it one of your favourites?” Ana asked, gently taking the book from her and looking over the cover.

  “Oh.. You were staring at me. Do I seem… Not normal to you?” The question came out slowly and softly, as well as confused. This would not be the first time people were looking and staring at her because she was different. She is half-esper after all.

"...Your.. hair is really.. green." She's really never seen anyone with green hair before, so she was staring. Amelia rubbed the back of her head nervously, a trait she'd picked up from Hyuga.

"Thank you!" Amelia took the book and sat down near where Ana was sitting, opening it to the first page. "Do you want to read it with me, Ana? I bet it’s right up your alley!"

        “You’re welcome.” She patted Amelia’s head. Would she like to read with her? Why of course she would! “Sure, I would love to read with you, Amelia. I do enjoy reading.”

"Yaay!" Amelia looked so happy, handing over the book to Ana. "It's a really good book. I used to read it all the time in school. It's got really cool adventures!"

"…." Quietly stares at the lady, not sure what she should do.

  “I-Is there something the matter?” Wonders why this little girl was all by herself. Already is starting to be concerned for her safety.

She shook her head slowly. "..N-not really.." Amelia was wondering why her hair was so green.

"Could you pleaaaaaaaase hand me that book, Ana? Pleaaaase?" Cue puppy eyes. She wants to read.

       ”Sure thing.” Ana set her sketchbook down before she reached and grabbed the book Amelia had requested her to get. She then handed the book over to her. “Here you are.”
