What do you think is going through Jon and Danys' minds respectively when they stop and look at each other during the love scene?

Sorry for the late response! It's been a busy week. When I saw that moment in their love scene for the first time, I took Jon's look as one of disbelief and awe like 'I can't believe I'm making love to this girl'. I think after Ygritte, Jon didnt think he would find love again, but he did. And he's only made love one other time, so Dani is the only other person and this is the only other time he has had sex. So it's a big deal, which makes the way he looks at her so much more meaningful. The love is so clear in his eyes when he pauses and looks at her. I think the pause allowed him to gather his emotions and thoughts. And lastly, I think he just needed a breather. It's been a long time for him and he probably felt the end coming on and wanted it to last longer. As is evident through the deep breathes he took, which I think was for both physical and emotional purposes.As for Dani, in that moment, Dani looked the most vulnerable we have ever seen her. When he pauses to look at her, she looks almost scared, like he changed his mind or something, that when she finally let her guard down and was stripped bare, he was going to reject her, but he didn't. There was also pure love, desire, and awe in her eyes when she looked at him. When he started kissing her again, you could almost feel her doubts wash away.I think in that moment those two finally realize that they were brought together for a reason. That they are each others destiny. That fire and ice were always meant to unite.Hope this answers your question!
