what she means: in the last lines of Getaway Car, Taylor Swift says, “I was riding in a getaway car, I was crying in a getaway car, I was dying in a getaway car, said goodbye in a getaway car.” She orders these lines from acceptable situations to increasingly difficult situations–that is, until it reaches the last line, where she “said goodbye in a getaway car.” By doing so, she is indicating that saying goodbye is more painful than dying.
