One year ago today was the best day of my life. To say that seeing @taylorswift for the first time was an experience is an understatement. I can't put into words what just being in the same place as her meant to me, especially when she made her rounds around the stadium so everyone could see her. I will never forget this night and I cherish everything Taylor does to give her fans the best 💗

Missing my mom so much tonight and I wish that I could just be held while listening to "Soon You'll Get Better". One of the things that made me feel so close to Taylor and her music was the relationship she has with her mother. I lost my mother to cancer 8 years ago (wow has it been that long already?) and these songs about her mom, especially "Soon You'll Get Better", really hit home with me and bring back those same feelings that I shared with my mother. I love and miss her everyday, but am so thankful that Taylor put that song on Lover, as painful as I know first hand how hard it is to relive that feeling. Thank you Taylor for writing music that helps express people's highs and lows, and to let us know that we can push through it. Listening to "Soon You'll Get Better" is so hard sometimes but am thankfu that it exists. I know I'm just posting into the void but I just wish with all my heart that I could tell Taylor how much her and her music mean to me 😭💔

one of my favorite things on the album is the equality in the relationship in different ways that she shows through parallels

i love it because i feel like on taylor’s earlier albums, a lot of the times she would describe her relationships as her being more into them, or she was the crazy one, or the other way around. she doesn’t have that many songs where she describes a relationship as being on equal footing, but now we have a whole album full of them, and it’s good to know her relationship is so balanced
