DXM Safety Guide

~If you’re taking antidepressants or ADHD medications do not use DXM ~Do not drink alcohol, take benzos, or any other sedative-hypnotic drugs while taking DXM ~Do not take DXM in conjunction with cocaine, amphetamines, or any other stimulants (excluding caffeine) ~Do not take DXM in conjunction with MDMA, MDA, methylone, or any other serotonergic drugs. ~Do not take DXM in public ~Grapefruits, grapefruit juice, diphenhydramine, doxylamine, cannabis, and NMDA receptor antagonists potenate DXM ~Taking DXM products that also contain guafennisen is 100% safe, but may cause nausea, vomiting, and indigestion ~Do not take more than one bottle of DXM syrup that also contains doxylamine succinate ~Do not take more than two boxes of Coricidin Cough & Cold at a time ~Do not use DXM products that contain acetaminophen/ paracetamol or phenylephrine ~Delsym contains dextromethorphan polistirex, which is extended release. ~Most DXM products contain dextromethorphan hydrobromide (DXM HBr), which is immediate release ~Do not mix syrup with other drinks, it will overpower every taste. I drew this while on dxm, not sure how lol I grabbed a random colored pencil and drew a random line or shape and decided it looked like a bird, so I added onto it with other random colors. I'm posting this because when you're high or drunk this is a really fun thing to do. It's not my best artwork, but it's my favorite drawing I did while fucked up. When my robo capsules come in this week I plan to do more art 😎

being mentally ill + suicidal at a young age (before 18) is. strange, because you grow up with this idea that one day you’ll finally snap, turn off, be brave enough to kill yourself, so you don’t really plan for the future. adulthood- further life, it isn’t for you, nor do you feel included within the future of it. it isn’t.. it isn’t part of your life plan.

and then before you know it you’re 18 and you’re an adult but you never thought you’d get this far and sure it’s great that you’re still alive you guess but also. you feel so alone + lost in a world you never expected or planned to be a part of.

Exactly where I have been these past few years. I never thought I'd live to be 15. Then after I turned 15, I never thought I'd be 16, or 17. I thought that if I hadn't killed myself by the time I was 18, I would then. I still haven't. Not sure what I'm doing with my life, but I never planned to be here right now. After wanting to kill myself since I was 12, I never planned anything.

New or experienced dxm users...

If you're new to dxm, please, PLEASE research dxm and read good and bad trip reports. Make sure you're not taking any medication that could interact with dxm. Please be safe. ALWAYS research a new drug before you take it, and start off with a small dose to see how you react. When I took dxm for the first time three or four years ago, I took 300mg and puked up all of the cough gels. I got a little buzz, but since I threw most of it up it wasn't very strong so I tried again another day. I loved it. Some do, some don't. If you decide to travel to the dxm realm, MAKE SURE DXM IS THE ONLY ACTIVE INGREDIENT IN YOUR CHOICE OF COUGH MEDICINE! I can't stress that enough. Don't use Coricidin aka triple c's, don't use ANYTHING that has more than dextromethorphan HBr or polistirex as an active ingredient. Keep in mind dextromethorphan polistirex is time released. My personal favorite is an off brand of Robitussin cough gels simply because they're cheaper than name brand. If you don't like the idea of downing a bunch of pills (it's sickening, I know) and you can handle cough syrup, just make sure dxm is the ONLY active ingredient. I personally love dxm and I don't want to see anyone die or damage their body by being stupid and using a product with other active ingredients, especially you experienced users.
