She nodded. “Yeah I needed fun, need to just enjoy life you know?” She laughed. “I mean I am not gonna make you do anything illegal … well maybe.” She teased. “Okay we can take your car if you want, just let me text my guys, they are a bit over protective when I walk without them.” She pulled out her phone and shot off a text and smiled. “So tell me about the view.”

“Yeah, yeah, I am all about that. Why I enjoy travelling so much and spending time outdoors hiking and rock climbing. Though the risky things like that has always freaked out my trainer and my mom,” he laughed. “Hey, I can’t risk illegal. My doing stupid things days are gone, don’t encourage me again,” he joked. “Yeah, I don’t use a driver on a daily basis. I’ve pretty much kept my life as normal as I can. Okay, cool.” He nodded. “The colour of the water is amazing from up there.”

I go watch whenever I can, which isn’t as much as I’d like but that tends to be the way a lot of things in my life go. I’m alright. I work as an occupational therapist, though I’ve had to start changing direction as my ability to do my job has started to fade. But that’s what happens when one is going blind, so it’s been an expected change, not necessarily an easy one, but I knew it was coming, at the very least.

No, I get it. When you’re busy it’s hard to fit in everything you want to do. I’m glad you’re alright though. Yeah, change of direction, it’s good you adapted your life though. You never let it stop you, that’s brave.

Bit of both, we’re all into sports and fitness. Then there’s runners, boxers, basketball. We have a mix.

As a teenager I apparently took the phrase “Walk it off” too literally and genuinely “walked off” a broken knee, so… Pain doesn’t really faze me. I just wish I had a cool story behind the clavicle-shoulder injury, but alas, not a good story. What’s your favorite thing to do in terms of exercising or physical activity for fun? Like, in a nonworking out sense I love hiking.

See, I repeat, you’re hardcore. I just, can’t take risks. I’ve been an athlete my whole life, so any injury I always got checked. The story is cool, you’re badass. If I’m not swimming, I love being outdoors. Definitely a lover of hiking too, rock climbing. Nothing better than that feeling.

Just because I enjoy watching rugby doesn’t mean I actually understand it. At least past the point where it makes American football look like child’s play and that rugby players are far more attractive than should be allowed.

I guess I get that. But you still enjoy it. Which is nice. I can’t say I know much about rugby myself. Ah, rugby players are your thing.

Mercedes laughed pulling away. “So I am actually really good. I went to Universal with my brother Cam and now I get to hang with you, pretty good trip so far.” At his words she beamed. “You mean that? Cause people have regretted giving me that kind of power.” She teased linking her arm in his. “Lets go to the Santa Monica Pier. I haven’t been even though I lived here. We can use my driver if you want?”

“Sounds like you’ve had fun so far then,” he smiled, nodding as he walked beside her. “I mean, within reason. I still have the right to say no to something,” he laughed. The girl was a nice friend to have, he’d enjoyed finding out about her career and how she felt about charity. “The Pier is good to me. You need to see the view. I don’t tend to use a driver. I have my own car parked just across the road.”

After a year of traveling, I am so happy to be home. I missed everyone and the restaurant that started it all . I just have to figure out where I am living. But for now, catch me at the hotel.

I love watching the next gen compete, cos y’know, it reminds me why I fell in love with sports and with competing. That same fire and passion. It’s always good to see. That’s good, I’m glad to hear it. 

Yeah, me too. I enjoy training them. It’s nice, seeing their passion, like I have mine. I get you. How are you?

Yeah, back from some training. I did some travelling with a couple of friends. I’m a swimmer. But I’m always doing things, hiking, biking. I just enjoy being active.

I can’t believe how busy summer can get man. And my mom keeps dragging me to all these parties….. anybody want to come and keep me company? I already checked and apparently taking my dog is frowned upon.

Oh she does that to you as well does she. I’ve known Quinn since high school and I’ve the experienced the I hate you phase on many an occasion , even though I know she loves me really 

Well if I was my grandma either baking or watching bake off.

Yeah, that sums up my relationship with Quinn too. I know she doesn’t hate me, not really. Even when we have our disagreements.

Mercedes was excited to be meeting up with Bradley, she really enjoyed talking to him and being able to meet up in person was exciting. She had made sure that Bart and Cam were okay before she headed out. Seeing Bradley she smiled heading over to him. She wore a blush sundress that hugged her curves with white sandals, her hair fell over her shoulders. Subtle makeup and a pair of sunglasses finished the look. 

She reached out and hugged him with a smile. “Yep definitely taller in person.” She teased before she let him go. “How are you?”

Bradley smiled, watching the girl approach him. His arm wrapping around her as she hugged him. “That goes for us both. You can pretend I’m taller if you’d like,” he joked, smiling once more as he pulled back. “I’m good. I’ve had my morning work out, some brunch. And I’m enjoying being out in the sun. How are you?” He nodded. “Okay, lady’s choice. Where are we headed today?”
