i’m baaaaaaack!! it felt so good to be back with my aew family last night and we’re onto big things with the owen hart cup, maybe 2x winner incoming? but fill me in on what all i’ve missed guys.

we had some of the best times back then, whether we were training or running around the city it was the two of us against the world. you let me know when you’re free then and i’ll take ya up on that offer, if anyone can get me back into fighting shape it’s you. that’s how it is with the gunns and juice, they’re great and i’ve grown a kinship with them but they’ll never replace you, no one could. ha, should’ve known you’d say that considering you’re the expert of knowing how to drive me crazy. juice knows quite a bit of our history, the gunns know we have history just not the full extent of it. they shouldn’t take issue with anything though and if they do i’ll speak to them. trying to steal me away from the boys now 😏? not necessarily stir crazy, more bored and impatient than anything else. made for a wild birthday night it sounds like, i’m glad you had yourself a time davey and that you found a solid crew of mates.

jay jay!! i’m checking in because i know i’ve been horrible about reaching out while i’ve been traveling, so forgive me. i also brought some souvenirs back from a few places so i’ll bring them over once i’m back stateside. but fill me in, what all have i missed with you? especially since a certain someone has joined the company recently 👀.

well there’s my title, wrestling gears for the shows, outfits which there’s a few for different occasions because you never know, right? and then small things like make-up, skin care, it’s all necessity jay! so no judging sir. more like two weeks, since we have house shows thrown in there too which i’m excited for the trip overall, but making sure i have everything is the real struggle.

you had me up ‘till the multiple outfits bit ‘cause wouldn’t you just need the outfits for each day and that’s it? there’s so many questions honestly and maybe that has to do with me having the man’s mentality of packing the essentials. actually longer than i thought it was, so the amount of packing makes a little more sense to me now. where you lot hitting on this tour, besides italy of course. anywhere specific you’re looking forward to?

been debating a trip back home to nz, take advantage to see the family while i’m out. and somehow my mother must have sensed my homesickness ‘cause tell me why i got a call from her today asking if she could come visit soon, if that isn’t parent intuition i’m not sure what is.

trust me, if i let her go nursing me too much she’ll think i need to be put into protective bubble wrap. she means well of course, but she’s a worrier. it’ll be nice having her around for some catch up time though, haven’t seen her in a while.

your mom was always pretty intuitive, so you shouldn’t be too surprised that she knew something was up. i think having family around you during a downtime though always helps, especially while you’re working through your injury. how are things on that front btw? i was a little surprised they didn't have you make your big return last night.

you aren’t wrong on that, not much gets past mama switch. that’s what i’m thinking too, besides they haven’t been around since before i got the farm finished up so they’d get a kick out of that i’m sure, mom especially. plus, it will be nice just having some comforting company. better than the last time we spoke actually, things are healing up how the doc wants and so it shouldn’t be too long from now that i’m back. trust me, i wanted to be out there but had to sit in the back and watch this time around, still made the most of my visit though.

i swear, family always has a sixth sense about that sort of thing. there's been a couple times now when i've felt pretty low, only to have my sister surprise me with a visit. it's kind of comforting tho, to think we can still have that connection with our family even when we're so far away.
