Cheers, love, I’d say I have to agree with you there. If it paid enough to be the only thing I ever did in terms of work, I’d do it for the rest of my life. Salary’s not that kind, unfortunately.

I’m from London, and believe it or not I’ve actually enjoyed the relative quiet in comparison. The first week or so I had to play traffic noises on my phone to fall asleep, but after that I just tried to make the best of it. Use it to relax and stuff. That and my Da has been on a meditation kick lately and I’ve told him I’ll try that as well, so I’m sure the quiet won’t hurt that journey.

I probably would too, to be honest, Sir. Though I’ve heard people say it’s worth trying anything once, I’ve always said that if I think it might give me a heart attack it’s probably not something worth doing. I’m not afraid of them, per say, they’re just not my cup of tea. How did you manage to get over your fear of them?

[PM]: I assure you, Sir, any type of submission you need is something I can give. You don’t have to curb your desires. I live to be of service. Whenever you’d like, I’m there.

Well, after the whole fiasco that is throwing up on a moving ride; my dads talked me into getting some water and taking a break and such and my brother eventually convinced me to try it again. He held my hand the entire time so I wouldn’t be as nervous, and I ended up really loving the ride. After that, I was kind of hooked on the whole roller coasters thing. 

[PM]: Well, I like to think I’m fairly respectful when it comes to doing scenes with people for the first time. Annabelle was a little surprised when Morgan suddenly asked if she was okay considering the small squeeze was one that was barely noticeable. Wanting to reach up and smooth away his worry lines, she gave him a smile instead. “Yeah, everything’s okay.” She finally replied, watching as Morgan’s eyes danced around her face–which caused her to blush a little bit. She couldn’t remember the last time someone looked at her like this; like she was the only thing in the world at the given moment and that made her feel giddy.

The cold air on her palm was an unwelcoming one as he opened the door to the station, one that she was finding that she didn’t like. When he reached out, Annabelle happily slipped her hand into his own once more, taking a moment to lace their fingers again. The more she held onto his hand, the more she was realizing just how small her hand was compared to his own and she liked it. A small smile slipped onto her face then as she was led down the hall to where she assumed the lounge was from all the laughing and chatter.

Hiding a little bit behind Morgan as she watched, a small laugh bubbled from her lips as the gang gathered around for the donuts before she was pulled in the direction of the kitchen. Leaning against the counter as she watched him pad around the kitchen, she thought about it for a moment before shrugging her shoulders. “Any kind of coffee is good to me–as long as you got milk and sugar. ” She replied as she smiled again, really taking in Morgan’s features now that they were in some light. He was even more handsome in the light and Annabelle’s stomach did flips.

“Pryce, your girlfriend’s my hero!” The tips of his ears flooded with warmth as the call carried itself across the lounge. He turned on his heel sharply to find McGuire, an older paramedic on their squad, giving him a broad grin as he dug into some of the donuts Belle had brought along with her. Some small, bashful part of him wanted to bury his face in his hands and pretend he wasn’t blushing so hard he was almost certain most of his blood flow had been redirected into his face and the surrounding areas. He grumbled lightly to himself, reaching into the fridge to collect the milk and give his face some much needed time to cool down. 

It wasn’t unusual for all of them to spend the better parts of their shifts teasing each other mercilessly but it was perhaps the first time Morgan had ever felt keenly impacted by their teasing. He didn’t care much that they wanted to tease him about Belle being his girlfriend but there was a distinct difference between hearing it when he was alone versus hearing it when she was standing right next to him. He slid the milk onto the counter with a distracted shove, and poked around briefly for the instant coffee they had crammed somewhere in the cabinets. 

He showed it to Belle with a bashful grin, “I told you it wouldn’t be anything fancy but if these punks,” He jerked his head towards the others on duty, “Will quiet down a smidgen, we should be able to chat no problem.” He turned away from her entirely then, busying himself setting the coffee to brew while he rubbed idly at his cheeks, hoping the blushing he seemed intent on doing in that moment would spontaneously fade away.

[PM]: It’s still very noble, Sir! Oh I’m open to almost anything, Sir, really. I personally quite enjoy Domestic submission, though I’ve been known to enjoy Shibari and being used for a Dominant’s pleasure.

... I would probably cry. Then again, my ideas about what’s actually gonna scare me while I’m doing it have been changed since I started working. Fighting fires on a semi-regular basis kind of makes things that were terrifying before a hell of a lot more manageable. Roller coasters count! I think I threw up the first time I went on a roller coaster because I was so nervous. I’m not afraid of them now but little Morgan was not a fan.

Sadly, I was not given the chance. We were only there for a few days and there were other things I had to attend to, sight seeing was on the back burner. Well, neither have I but my brother’s been and he seems to think it’s a good comparison. I trust him on that. Surprise wasn’t the first thing that crossed her mind, but it was one of a few. A laugh bubbled from her lips at the antics that she could only assume was being thrown at Morgan from inside the station. Her attention quickly shifted as she took him in, a little disheveled from the time at work, but still handsome. If anything, it made him more handsome and Annabelle could feel the heat rising in her cheeks as they got closer. A little laugh came from her at his little exclamation, a grin growing on her face.

“Hey, handsome,” She replied before happily taking the hug–Christ, he gave really good hugs already and she was going to look forward to more of his hugs in the future. “Thanks. I hope they like them. I just told the guys at the bakery to pick their favorite ones.” Annabelle explained before a blush rose in her cheeks once more, looking down at their joined hands for a moment before looking back at him. “Yeah, that works. I don’t think any place is open right now.” She smiled while giving his hand a small squeeze. She liked the warmth that his hand gave off.

Letting Morgan tug her towards the station, she took a moment as they got closer to look at the building. It was a plain building that Annabelle had passed many times growing up but now it’s going to have a reason to be looked at every time she passed it. A smile slipped onto her face then before her gaze turned to the man that was giving her a reason to look at things different and a small part of her felt weary; and that feeling made her tighten her grip slightly on Morgan’s hand as they entered the station.

“Is everything okay?” A brief, concerned furrow marked his brow in the split second it took for him to half-turn towards Belle having noticed the minute pressure she’d been putting on his hand. Static flickered across his fingertips for a moment alongside the sudden urge to hold her face in the palm of his hand to assure himself that she was well; that nothing they’d done in the last few minutes had made her feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed. It had taken approximately five minutes of their conversation on Tumblr for him to decide that he was entirely devoted to getting to know the woman at his side, and he wanted to make that process as easy as possible for the pair of them. 

He took another moment to watch her, bright eyes drifting across the planes of her face with obvious interest before he untangled their fingers to open the door quickly. The cold air against his palm was an unwelcome feeling and it took only a moment for him to reach for Annabelle’s hand again; a part of him found it almost unbearable to be too far away from her already and he swallowed roughly at the thought. No one had meant that much to him since he was a teenager, and that alone made his nerves dance jigs of their own in the pit of his stomach. 

There was a clatter down the hall as he lead them towards the lounge where they spent most of their time between calls; laughter and conversation echoed as they approached and he took another slow, deep breath before they rounded the corner. “Oi, midnight snack!” He grinned broadly while he slipped the donuts onto the table and motioned for everyone in the room to have at them, tugging Annabelle in the direction of the kitchen before he made himself busy trying to track down the coffee. “Darlin’, what kind of coffee d’you drink anyhow? We haven’t got anything gourmet or whatever but it’s drinkable.”

I’m ace at darts, actually. My brother had me blindfolded to do it because he’s actually a bit of a git, but I can’t really say I regret it. I wanted an adventure and being here has been nothing but. The streets were quiet as Annabelle wandered down to the firehouse from where she parked on the street, a box in hand as her free hand tried to pull her jacket closer against the wind as it picked up. She couldn’t remember the last time she felt this giddy about someone she only just met, but she was still a little weary after the last time she had this feeling and she was left very wrong about them. But Annabelle had a different feel about Morgan, and he was so sweet and adorable that she couldn’t help just falling for him.

Pulling out her phone as she got closer to the firehouse, she quickly sent a ‘I’m coming up now’ before slipping her phone into her pocket once more. Her stomach was already doing flips with excitement and nervousness, having to stop really quick to take a deep breath and smiled.

Yeah, she was ready for what was to come.

He took a deep breath when his phone buzzed, trying for a moment to make himself feel just a bit less like a rowdy teenager and more like the relatively well put together grown ass man he was. Dawson grinned broadly and made kissing faces at him as he pushed his way out into the cool night, throwing a rude gesture over his shoulder as he laughed, entirely unprepared to see Belle in the low light outside the station. “Fuck me,” The exclamation tumbled from his lips as soon as he took her in; how anyone could be that gorgeous in person, he would never know, but he made a mental note to express his very immediate interest in worshiping her for hours on end. 

“Hi, gorgeous,” His smile widened as he stepped in to hug her, being mindful of the box of donuts in her hand as he squeezed her to his side gently. “Lemme snag that for ya.” He took the donuts lazily, reaching for her hand without much of a thought before he paused and laced their fingers together. “C’mon, love, I figured I’d just make you coffee inside. Is that alright?”

He paused for a moment to study her face before he took a few steps towards the station door. Another beat and he tugged her along in the direction of the station, eager to just be with her for a while.

That’s still amazing, Sir! I can’t even imagine what you or that little kid must have been feeling. The fact that you helped him get out of there in one piece is truly awe-inspiring! Thank you for thinking that, Sir. I have met some people that do not agree but to be honest their opinion only matters if they intend to pursue anything long-term with me. Aw thank you, Sir! Having only been to London a handful of times and never really leaving the hotel room I can’t tell you how they compare to our seasons but I’d bet they’re equally wonderful!  I used to get back there for all the major holidays but in the last five or so years I’ve only been back twice, sadly. 

It scared the absolute piss out of me but alongside that it’s a hell of a rush; it’s like... skydiving, I suppose. You’re absolutely terrified to be doing it but something just clicks in the process and it happens so fast you only have time to act. So there’s no real time to focus on how scared you are. It took me a while to figure that out. [PM]: Yeah? You want to submit to me, little bird? Because I’d have absolutely no problem with that. 

Aw, don’t tell me you didn’t see any of the sights? They’re more wet than anything, honestly, but once you’ve lived there about a year, nothing is all that surprising and you can still do quite a lot in the rain. In that case, I hope you’ll find your way back there quite soon— you seem to love it and you seem to have a lovely smile. Anything that encourages that, I’m supporting.
