I mean it requires loosening the reigns a little and giving them a chance to show you what they can do. And then you’re right there if they did help or if they mess it up a little. It just makes it a little less work on yourself, especially where you’re under the weather.

I have so many orders set up for boutonnieres and corsages! Thinking about it just makes me internally scream. I don’t know how I’m going to do any of this by myself. I mean I have my employees, of course, but – well… I don’t let any of them actually design anything because I have a brand aesthetic and I wish to keep it. 

I just don’t understand why I feel like I’m dying. I should go to the doctor.

That makes sense, though! Perhaps you could design them all on paper and then let your employees help under your watchful eye as they put them together? That way you can fix what needs to be fixed but you’re not stuck making them all yourself.

We asked our students to write potential plots and tropes they wanted to see in a play and see if we could come up with an original one with all of them, and they happen to be very creative, Jai. I’m happy with the results, I can’t lie.

Oh my! Well if this play of yours ever makes it to fruition on the stage, Sir, I would love to see it. If you’re excited about it, then it’s going to be a good one I’m sure.

Miserable-ness is being sick for the past week and a half and not being able to properly prepare for work. I tried to sleep for two days while the shop was closed, but I know working is a bit more important and Spring is so close– though it ‘apparently’ has already started. I need to make sure everything’s ready for Proms coming up.

Maybe I should invest in something that physically keeps me upright while working because I’ve felt something awful lately.

Oh no!!! That sounds absolutely horrible!! If you need any extra help getting things ready for Prom, I’ll gladly volunteer some hours here and there to do so!

I’ll even bring soup!

Or.. well, no, I can’t hear- but still. I do have ways to have hearing a bit more accessible to me, and you bet your little butt that I heard that.

Like, don’t you just love when you can tell someone’s upset that they’re not doing well in your class? It’s not because I’m mad at them, it’s because their writing is severely poor.

Wow, really? How very rude of them! Doing poorly in your class is no excuse for them to make negative comments about things like that. I cannot stand when students don’t think the people that hire Professors are capable of hiring someone ideal for the job.

Well, after the whole fiasco that is throwing up on a moving ride; my dads talked me into getting some water and taking a break and such and my brother eventually convinced me to try it again. He held my hand the entire time so I wouldn’t be as nervous, and I ended up really loving the ride. After that, I was kind of hooked on the whole roller coasters thing. 

[PM]: Well, I like to think I’m fairly respectful when it comes to doing scenes with people for the first time. I didn’t want to suggest anything that’d completely overwhelm you or make you nervous about doing things with me. But we can chat about it, yeah? I’ll have to have a think considering now my options aren’t necessarily limited. 

It sounds like you have quite the supportive family, sir! I can see why it would be much more enjoyable the second time around - especially minus the throwing up.

[PM]: There isn’t much you could do to overwhelm me, Sir, to be quite honest. We can certainly chat about it though!
