good morning! I know it’s been so totally long but I lost my password and have been unable to log in. Of course, Things Happened and I absolutely no longer support swmrs whatsoever, and you shouldn’t either!
It’s been months but I’m still absolutely horrified by what Joey did, and what the rest of the band let slide. Fuck that shit. Abusers do not belong in the music scene, performative privilege fucks don’t deserve to call themselves punk. They meant a lot to me, and it was really fucking hard moving on, but it did truly open my eyes on who I look up to and how I expressed by support for them.
Thank you to everyone who supported me and this blog! I will most likely be deleting everything or just archiving it. If you ever need someone to talk to about the situation (yes, even though it’s been months, it’s still really painful, and feels a bit like a breakup, also there’s always tea popping up that I love to discuss) or just feel like seeing what I’m up to, I’m available at @eveofdeestruction.
