One thing I truly enjoy is the forever western cultural fear against Ouija Boards. And yes I specifically mean the Parker Brothers brand Ouija Boards. You can go into most crystal/metaphysical shop where there is usually at least one custom made “spirit board” and no one is freaking out.

You can go on a ghost hunting trip, bringing EMF readers, spirit boxes, dousing rods and all manner of ghost hunting tools and every one is chill. But the moment a Ouija Board is brought out, people flip. “I’m NOT touching that!” “No no no don’t bring that energy here!” “I’m not a believer or anything but I’d rather be safe than sorry!”
