Kiko giggles as she sees the other trip, it had been awhile since she had seen them so some hugs were needed. The pianist smiles as she carefully lowers herself to the floor, pulling the other into her lap.

“Hey you~ What have you been up to? It’s been forever.” She hums and nuzzles them, Kiko had missed this, missed being able to just spend time with the other.

“I missed you…” She nuzzles against them, a smile plastered on her face.

---- Wallowing in shame and embarrassment? That’s a thing of the past. Now was the time for being affectionate and (trying to be) cute! 

      They roll over so their head is facing up toward Kiko, and grin brightly. Though, that was... a bit hard to tell. A low, soft rumbling sound also is audible from Aki, probably just a phone vibrating in their pocket or something.

      Their hands reach up to cup Kiko’s cheeks, that ‘grin’ still plastered on their face. The missing of each other was most definitely a mutual feeling!

---- They trudge into the room, what looks like a glum expression present on their... not-face, and then they lie down on the hard tile. Sure, Aki’s probably in the way of something (or not, they can easily be stepped over), but at the moment, they lack care for that sort of thing.

      At the sound of someone approaching, they look up toward the other momentarily... but then just go back to staring at the ceiling. Sad beeping noises ensue.

---- Flirt target spotted. It was time to tighten their hoodie strings, and go in all smooth-like. Because if there was anything that Aki knew how to do... it was organ transplants. But also being smooth. They were pretty good at that too.

      They slide toward Kiko, finger-gunning... and then proceeding to trip over their own feet and fall face-first onto the floor. Smooth as sandpaper.

      A drawn-out bloop sounds off, and they hold a thumbs-up up toward the pianist, though they remain on the floor to wallow in the embarrassment.

---- Their face goes red once more from all the compliments, Aki soon leaning their head on Kiko’s shoulder again. It was a simple bliss, but simple things were all Aki needed, really. Someone to cuddle with and love on? Perfection.

      They let out a drawn out, quiet beep, their eyes going slightly dim as they rested in the other’s arms.

If there was a game called ‘how many different ways can I say ‘thank you’ non-verbally’, then Aki probably had the high score by now. Or the low score, depending on how well the messages came across.

      Afterward, they make a heart shape with their hands... before turning around once more and leaning back into Kiko.

Kiko squeaks, she hadn’t expected that to happen, especially on the first date. She wasn’t even sure if this would be considered a date. The pianist tightens her hold just a bit, enough so that they would both feel safe.

She opens her mouth to speak, but just closes it again, not able to find the words she needed.

---- Peeking up just a tad, Aki’s eyes flicker to resemble how one’s eyes might look while smiling. They were... extremely happy, needless to say. Happy to have someone that they could do this with. Every now and then, some affectionate touches were just... needed.

      They blush a tad, turning themself over so they were facing toward the ceiling, as opposed to toward the couch, then nuzzle back into Kiko’s neck.

Kiko smiles as the other tightens their grip, cuddling them closer. She giggles softly, not finding the right words. We’re words even needed at this point? They both seem content with just cuddling, so Kiko happily stays silent.

Her face blushes a bright red when the other ‘kisses’ her nose. Hearing the beeps, Kiko just looks at Aki and tilts her head to the side, not saying anything.

---- ... In response to the... looking, Aki looks right back, tilting their head in tandem with Kiko. They end up staring for a few seconds or so, before leaning in and pressing an awkward smooch to her lips. That doesn’t last long before Aki pulls away, though, nuzzling back into Kiko’s neck.

     Again, there’s a bright red light coming from their face, which is still visible even despite their efforts to hide it.
