i just popped in here to say that i’m so sorry about my lack of activity the past couple days. i just have had no time to myself thanks to being swamped with college things. i’m going to try to get college stuff all done today so i can be on here for real tomorrow since it’s my day off.

tashigi’s interest and love for katanas comes from having grown up near a phenomenal blacksmith. unlike other kids, instead of going out and playing, she would rather find herself watching the mesmerizing process of creating a fine blade. she often got scolded for constantly going to the blacksmith’s place. ( they said blades were not something girls were supposed to like. ) nonetheless, she would sneak out to go watch him forge them almost religiously. to be able to understand more about them, she would read every book she could find on the topic. it was not, however, till a later point that she really had a want to learn how to wield a katana. ( a story for another time. )

her cheeks puffed out in disdain, her displeasure clearly reflected upon her countenance. perhaps it was fate, perhaps it was just shit luck, but she was starting to get tired of having to cooperate with PIRATES of all people. granted, the straw hats were better than other pirates ( THOUGH SHE WOULD NEVER ADMIT OUT LOUD ), but, of all people, to be stuck with HIM again was frustrating to no end.
