one ---- saying 'i'm not racist' before saying something blatantly racist does not make you not racist. that's the equivalent to saying 'no offense' before saying something offensive. two ---- it's not okay for people to change the race of a white character in alternate universe but it's totally fine to have white actors & actresses play people of color in films & tv shows? did you not see the promotional clips of exodus: gods & kings, where a plethora of white men & women were playing EGYPTIAN characters? or johnny depp playing an NATIVE AMERICAN character in lone ranger? ben affleck in argo portraying a MEXICAN character? jake gyllenhall playing a PERSIAN in prince of persia?  three ---- don't refer to us as though white people are a collective minority; recall moments in history where white people have ever had to fight for civil rights. white people have only ever been oppressed by other white people, for a whole four seconds in history, and even then they weren't enslaved & segregated, or even as brutalized as people of color have been throughout the span of space & time. you are not oppressed; reverse racism does not exist. for you to assume that you're somehow being segregated is just emphasizing how privileged you really are.
