there couldn't be two twins that are anymore different than louis and william. louis struggles with depression and anorexia, and william is a happy-go-lucky youtuber, although he does have anxiety. they look identical, but anyone can tell them apart just from body language and the expressions on their faces.

Ash laughed as he watched his best friend bounce around and babble in excitement. He stood, leaning against the boy’s bedroom door, watching him zip around and check that everything was right. After a moment he looked down at his outfit, hoping it was fine for the internet. He just tossed on a dark gray t-shirt with a  red flannel over it. He’d left that unbuttoned though. “Have you looked at any of the questions?”

          Once William had finished setting everything up, he looked up at the other male who was leaning against the door. “No, I haven’t, actually. I like to go in completely surprised. I don’t like setting up answers in my head before I film the video, but we can skip over any questions we don’t want to answer and stuff,” he told him.

          “I’m so excited!” William exclaimed, looking over to his best friend with a bright smile. “Aren’t you excited? This is going to be so so so great, and everyone’s going to be so so so happy and I just-” he went on and on as he was bouncing around the room, adjusting all of his equipment in front of his bed. Today, the two of them were going to be making a video together where they answered a bunch of questions from Twitter for his YouTube channel.

          “--oh! that’s a bummer,” he said. “i can teach you how to smile!”

ASH: i'll text you when I wake up

ASH: i have to go back to work now

ASH: break's over. but they're going to freak out then aren't they? ha wait till they learn i'm not as cool as they think.

WILL: alright lol good luck with that

WILL: text me later k?

ASH: mmmkay when do you want me?

ASH: will they be excited?

WILL: whatever time you want to come

WILL: just let me know ahead of time

WILL: and yeah of course!! they've been waiting for this forever

ASH: kidding

ASH: how about tomorrow? is that enough time to ask for questions?

WILL: i knowwwwww c:

WILL: but yeah, that's fine.

WILL: i can just post the tweet for it tonight and let it all pile up for us to answer them tomorrow.

ASH: Answering questions? Okay that seems easy enough. I can do that.

ASH: when do you want to do it?

WILL: i'm sorryyyy

WILL: yeah answering questions is really fun

WILL: uh could be any time before saturday. that's when i have to post my next video and i need to film it and edit it a day ahead of time at the least

WILL: so whenever you're free before then

ASH: i am you're best friend. did it take you that long to write that out?

ASH: what would I have to do if I agreed?

WILL: yeah sorry for some reason i couldn't get it worded right haha

WILL: well anything really. the easiest thing we could do could just be answering questions from people on twitter and stuff

WILL: answer what they actually want to know and such

ASH: why'd they want to see me?

WILL: you. i accidentally talk about you all the time lol

WILL: is typing... [erased]

WILL: i mean, because you're my best friend.

WILL: they just like hearing about you and always tell me to put you in a video

LOUIS: why would you even ask that

WILL: i accidentally talk about you all the time and my fans really want to see you

          “--to be honest, i don’t think i asked for your opinion.” the smile is sarcastic.

          “--listen, i know we were supposed to go to the movies tonight, but...” william said through the phone to his boyfriend, laying back on the bed and slowly fluttering his eyes closed. “i’m feeling really sick to my stomach, so i think we’ll have to cancel. i’m really sorry.”

          “just -- just stop looking at me, okay?” louis was fidgeting with the hem of his shirt nervously and letting out small breaths of air. “i don’t understand why you keep LOOKING AT ME.”
