👪: Someone in my muse’s family.

( Get to delve into Lee’s forgotten past that I seriously need to write up as a thing on here but anyways. This gets into triggers with mentions of mental illness and drug use, so I’m putting it under a cut. )

Let’s meet Lee, before he was Lee,’s biological mom, Annie. If one word could sum up her life, it was ‘disappeared’.Before it applied to herself.

Like her son, Annie didn’t have the best life.She ignored all her troubles and dealt with her undiagnosed bipolar disorder and occasional episodes of anger, with excessive drug use and partying. And it was at one such party that she met Lee’s biological father. They were together for a year before they married and not long after she became pregnant with Lee and (surprise surprise) his fraternal twin sister.In the beginning it was good. Annie thought for the first time in her life, something  great was finally happening for her. She was happy.It wasn’t long after the kids were born, however, that the whole happy family imagefell apart. However brief it had existed to begin with. Her husband left without a word.Annie began to fall back into that life of drugs and partying, hopping from one man to the next.With the partial hope one would stay, this time. Still. She tried to be there for her children. Be there to give them some happy memoriesdespite her struggles.When the twins were at the age of five was when tragedy struck again. Her daughter had gone missing, abducted right in front of their home. Never to be found. It was a bad neighborhood, most weren’t surprised.What little Annie had held together before that point was gone.Partying continued with more fervor, as did the drugs. Her rages and unstable mood returned in full force. As Lee grew up, some men managed to stay, one long enough to leave her with two new additions to the family before promptly vanishing like the rest. And not long after, another stayed and stayed for good. Despite everyone wishing he wouldn’t. But he had a stable job,put food on the table,  and turned a blind eye to Annie’s less than healthy life style. Even if he was a ‘little’ rough with the kids. It was good enough for her.Beggars couldn’t afford to be chooser.

One of Lee’s favorite movies ever, is Samurai Cop. It’s among the few that actually make him genuinely laugh. Is it a comedy? No. But he thinks its god damn hilarious.

A question that came out of nowhere.Uttered, nearly inaudible, while his younger brothers sat beside himwatching a new episode of Knight Rider in the rare moments of silence theycould capture.

It wasn’t unusual for them to ramble off random shit on him.If at all possible, they were more curious and weird than he was.Except normally he knew how to answer.With an affectionate dis, or a joke.This time …

With a hardcore drug addict for a mother, days without any sight, hide or hair, of her were to be expected. Something they had all begrudgingly gotten accustomed to. As was her coming home in a tirade. She had said she had enough. The minimal shits she could muster gone, maternal figureas sparse as she was, no longer a position she wanted to fill.

As far as he was concerned. They were better off without her.If only their step-dad could follow suite.

She had been gone eight months.

It shouldn’t have surprised him as much as it did. Receiving the phone call two weeks back.He’d gone down to the morgue on his own. It was better that way.He shouldn’t have been surprised, shouldn’t have held out onto some sliver of hopeit wasn’t her. They were better off weren’t they? She was a shit excuse for a parent.Yet he cried anyway.

It was hard to believe, under the bruises and track marks, the dirt and blood,she was ever as beautiful as she was in their old family photos.

This was a skeleton. This was a corpse.  This wasn’t what he or his brothers signed up for.

Technically, he’s an adult. With ajob, a shitty apartment of his own in an, admittedly questionablepart of town. It could be argued he had some semblance of a life.Sowhy was he putting up with this?Still.Whyhadn’t he taken his brothers away from here, away from him?

Hecould try to justify it. When it came to their step father’s favorite punching bag, hehad always been at the top. But thesmall and simple truth was; he would find them. No matter wherethey were, he would find them. Him being gone didn’t matter, butallof them hauling ass would never stand.And apart ofhim was selfish, wanted that small , run down sanctuary of his toremain just that.

He wasselfish. And now that he was gone, they had to suffer.

‘losthis shit’ wasn’t a phrase often applied to him. But the moment hesaw the bruises his brothers wore, what composure he was usuallyforced to keep vanished.He’d taken him by surprise. Thatwas the only reason he had made the older, taller, and fittermanfall back. Only way he could land a hard hit.But really,what chance did he stand against someone twice his size? (Hadn’tthat always been the way)It should have been obvious trying tofight him would result in a loss on his part.It hadn’tmattered.It still didn’t.With every blow, he was broughtback to an old, deeply rooted mentality.Warped and fucked beyondbelief as it was.

Hestill believed he deserved it.Years of heavy hits,unprovokedat the start before his smart mouth acted as the ignition,an everplaying broken record since childhood.clearly…that had to bethe case right?

Hedeserved it. He always had.Maybe… but theydidn’t

Evenwith his face cut, bleeding, broken, sore beyond belief he managed tolift his head just enough to meet the older mans eye. Utter throughsplit lips and reddened teeth.

“You fuck… I’m goingto-”“What?”A hand in his hair, tugged hard andsudden. An inescapable gasp of pain leaving him, try as he mightto shove it down. Keep quiet. Not give him the satisfaction.“You’lldo what? Huh? Tell me you little pathetic sack of shit. Kill me?Come back and get your ass handed to you?You must like itwith how often you run your mouth.”The older man knew he hadwon.That undefeated look of victory. Pride.Long worn look ofsatisfaction at beating those  too small to fight back.

He hadalways wanted nothing more than to wipe it off his smugface.Before, no matter what he said, he never could.Perhaps it wasthe lack of falter, the tone with which he spokein completeseriousness. His expression matching; no smile, no falsebravado.Just his stare. Hard and piercing, fighting thestrong urge to flinch from the pain.Fighting the need to coughand sputter.But the older man seemed to shrink at hisfollowing words. And, maybe… even look a littlescared.“No…not just kill you. That’s too simple. I’ll make you see whypeople are afraid of the place you’re going. And I’m going todrag you there myself. Even if it means I burn with you.”

💔 : Someone who broke my muse’s heart.

Lee’s had his heart broken quite a few times. Mostly in his past, with all the crushes he had, people he dated or slept with since he used to be much more of an ‘easily falls for others’ sort of person. Course none of that he remembers. The most prominent and ‘recent’ one, though,  would definitely have to be Zoe; the first demon who befriended him and kinda took him under her wing when he was sent to Hell. Also the one who gave him his name so, there’s a little fact for you. There was a group of demons they’d pal around with, sleep with when the mood struck. But none of it was ever serious. Except Lee ended up falling for Zoe pretty hard. It was unclear whether those feelings were requited and Lee never got the chance to tell her before she was killed. That mess = Heartbroken. And just adds onto his inability to handle his feelings.

Oh boy. Considering Lee is a selfish asshole, this is a bit tricky. On one hand, he clings to the shit ‘life’ he has, the other he can have a very apathetic, self depreciating distance to it where the idea of dying, again and for the final time, wouldnt be so bad. So he’s a walking contradiction when it comes to death in general. But dying for someone. I think when it comes to those he loves, truly loves, and cares for he would die for them.

This is something I’m going to mention when I make a verses page, but Lee’s past took place in the 80’s. So though he has no memory of his past what so ever, theres that deeply seeded love for anything from that era for him. Especially the music.

And following along that vein of past bleeding into his current self, Lee used to smoke. (That vice has changed to drinking but) Now, its more a thing he does if someone else around him is doing it. As a result of all that though, he has a bit of an oral fixation: Tongues the back of his teeth,  chews on his lips sometimes, etc.

Considering he’s now bound to Amelia, @grveyardxgirl ‘s character, he’s roomied up with her in her small one bedroom apartment. So Lee is stuck with the couch. The livingroom is his domain. Or he’d like to think it is. But it’s equal parts unfortunate for Amelia, having a lazy smart ass on your sofa. Especially when Lee brings someone home with him. Which is often.

☾He does sleep actually. Not because he needs it per say. Mostly as a way to pass the time: when he’s bored, really drunk, needs to heal, or the very rare times hes tired out from some physically demanding activity or another.

✿(dont judge me okay) I have a lot of sexual headcanons for him, which probably comes as no surprise since he’s a fairly sexual character and I’m a dumpster fire. But one that first comes to mind is, straight up, Lee’s a switch. Initially, he’ll start being the top. That’s his standard. But, depending on some factors, (how much he likes the other person being one) he’d be up for changing the positions around. And though he’d never say, he tends to prefer being a bottom more for guys than girls/ others. (Not saying he’s into dick but….yeah he is)

♦  Quirks wise, Lee doesn’t have many.  But cocking his head to the side would be one, which he does whenever he’s intrigued by someone (whether it be sexually, intellectually, etc) and as far as hobbies, does being a general lay about asshole count? Really though, he likes to party. As much as that conflicts a bit with how he can’t stand being around people, going to clubs and drinking/ dancing are things he loves to do and does often.

Were he not the most considerate fucking person, he might have held the fact his nap was so abruptly, and rudely, interrupted against her. It was clear, however, by the subtle slamming of the front door to the apartment that Samantha wasn’t in a good mood. Made ever more apparent by the stomps preceding, and another slam that followed.

Being the caring, and not at all morbidly curious, person he was of course, he decided to investigate. Which was how he found himself lying in bed beside a very agitated Amelia, who apparently had a lot to say. A lot.

It wasn’t exactly a rarity for her to come back from work riled by some dicklick who had stiffed her on a tip, or got too handsy. By the sounds of it, both being the case this time around. Watching what started off as anger, slowly shift to something else, though,  was. This wasn’t a simple case of letting off steam. But something that lingered. Hit her hard.Which wasn’t surprising; if you asked him she took things too personally. Though, in this instance, he could agree that it was somewhat understandable.

With a lax and somewhat dead weighted fall, his hand landed across her shoulder. The reach to the back of her head, fingers lightly threading through Amelia’s brunette strands, being thankfully more gentle.

A small tip to the side, and Lee’s head touched hers. Forehead’s resting together as his dark gaze met the one looking woefully back.

❝ Want me to toss ‘em around? Maybe knock some of that loose change he owes and clearly had lodged up his ass out of him in the process? Normally I don’t sink to ’goon’ levels for free though. Lee’s a pretty musically affected person. Though seldom would he admit that in that black abyss under his ribcage he has some feelies, a fair amount of music resonates with him and can alter his mood on occasion. Make him sad, happy, and of course, horny. Which means some songs can, thats right, turn him on pretty damn easily. Why? God knows. Of course Past! Lee was no different. Save on one song. Whams!
