Kenzi never really left the places she had lived. Of course, she was born in Russia so that could be considered somewhere she’s been to. All she did was stay within the Toronto boundaries. It’s not like she had anywhere else to be, with kicking butt with Bo or living on the streets when she was younger. But she was fine with that. Now, she was even experiencing America.
❝ I understand. I have a fam to get back to. I was born in Russia, so I guess one could consider that a travel. ❞
The smile she saw guarenteed that this one was a hook, line, and sinker. Not that Kenzi didn’t already know that, but the assurance was a nice cherry on top.
❝ I know, I’m pretty amazing. ❞
He was glad to hear that she had something to go back to when she saved up enough money. Derek hadn't experienced that in a long time. He hardly had any family left to come back to in Beacon Hills, the last time being when he came back here just to see his sister's body.
❝ I'd count it. And now you can count Beacon Hills. ❞
Her comments managed to help the current smile on his face remain there.
❝ I can't deny that. ❞
