What About Us?
Sebastian Sallow x Reader
Summary: F!MC blames herself for everything that happened during their fifth year and decides to leave Hogwarts, but Sebastian wasn’t going to let her go that easily (a.k.a., a rather confrontational conversation). Word count: 2.7k Tags: angst. promise it has a happy ending. but mostly angst. fluff. self-deprecating MC. angry Seb. but also sweet Seb. Author's notes: I was in an angsty mood.
— Despite being heralded as the Hero of Hogwarts after saving the wizarding world from near destruction by Ranrok and his loyalists, MC was painfully aware that her glory came at the expense of her loved ones. With Professor Fig gone, Natty’s confinement to the infirmary for her injuries, and Sebastian completely broken up over what had occurred in the catacombs, she could only reflect on the one common factor of it all: her.
She had spent the past few weeks since the end of the spring season distancing herself from her friends. She often mused about her role in every ill-fated event that happened over the last term, carrying the burden and guilt alone on her shoulders. She couldn’t help but blame herself—after all, she was the main reason why everything had turned out like this.
MC chose to stay silent about what Sebastian had done, going against her better judgment of sending him to Azkaban to atone for what he did. She knew that turning him in would only serve to harm him, and she loved him far too much to allow that to happen. Sebastian, on the other hand, was convinced that he no longer deserved an ounce of MC’s attention after everything that he had put her through. What once was an intimate companionship between the two slowly declined into mere awkward conversations and avoidance.
The strain on her relationship with Sebastian forced MC to find solace in her own company, strolling along the sparse grounds beyond the castle’s walls by her lonesome. It was on one of these walks that she thought long and hard about what she would do once the term ended, coming to the conclusion that it would be in everyone’s best interest for her to leave Hogwarts for good as a way to mend her wounds.
She was tight-lipped regarding her decision, only notifying Professor Weasley about her withdrawal from the school, and remained steadfast in her choice in spite of the deputy headmistress’s protests. — On the day before their dismissal for the summer holidays, nearly every student buzzed in anticipation around the castle, packing their bags and eagerly awaiting their temporary relief from classes. Sebastian stole a glance in MC’s direction as they ate their breakfast in the Great Hall, noting the lovely little smile that appeared on her face whenever an acquaintance would stop by for a brief chat. He forced himself to tear his gaze away, afraid that she might realize the way that he looked at her, and instead turned his attention to the bread rolls stacked on a platter over the dining table.
It wasn’t lost on Sebastian how deeply he missed her. Although he hadn’t found the courage to interact with her in weeks, he still reveled in her presence around the corridors of the castle. He would find himself looking at her in class, searching for her in the crowds of students in the Great Hall during mealtimes, and dreaming about being by her side again when they were apart.
After a while, his musings were interrupted when he noticed a shadow cast over his periphery, a familiar figure situated before him. He tilted his head up to meet MC’s eyes.
“Hi,” she started with a polite tone.
“Hi,” he responded, setting his fork down.
“Do you… Do you have a moment—this afternoon?”
Sebastian straightened his posture, “I should… what for?”
“I wanted to speak to you about something,” she paused, “at our usual spot.”
“I see…” he gave her a prompt nod, “all right.”
MC stood there for a moment with her lips pressed into a thin line before she finally turned on her heel to leave. He watched as she sauntered away, disappearing into the Great Hall’s foyer amidst the rest of the crowd. After having ignored each other for weeks, Sebastian wondered what it was that she suddenly wanted to discuss and why it seemed so important that she had to go out of her way to ask him to meet at a secluded area outside of Hogwarts. He couldn’t help but allow himself to feel some excitement at the chance to speak to her again. It was the first time in a long while that he had something to look forward to. — Upon exiting the castle, Sebastian surveyed the vast highlands before him. His sight fell upon the cove just beyond the Black Lake. It was a grassy area hidden beneath a large and leafy tree—a secret spot where the two of them often met to relax, skipping rocks across the murky water’s surface, reading the latest books that they had borrowed from the library, and eating the sweets that they had snuck out of the kitchens over the blankets that were laid above the ground.
Sebastian drew in a breath and started on the path toward their little refuge.
When the cove came into his view, he found MC sitting over the edge of the blanket. She was still and silent, her knees tucked up to her chest as she stared longingly at the waves that rolled into the shore. The tension that surrounded her was palpable. Nevertheless, he took a few cautious steps forward and cleared his throat to make his arrival known.
“You’re here,” she murmured, her sullen eyes following his movement as he sat beside her.
“As promised,” he replied with a slight smile, “it’s been a while, hasn’t it…”
There was a calm breeze that enveloped the pair, gently rustling the trees that protected the cozy nook.
“Yes, I just—I wanted to be here… for one last time,” she said, “and I figured that I should at least let you know…”
“What do you mean…?” Sebastian could sense a brooding air materialize between them, his heart thumping in his chest at the suspense of her following words.
“I’m leaving, Sebastian,” MC added bluntly.
“What?” he was dumbfounded at the news, unable to wrap his head around what she had just mentioned, “you mean for the summer?”
Leave. The word echoed repeatedly in his conscience. Surely, he heard her wrong. MC couldn’t possibly leave Hogwarts, leave him. Her very existence was the only thing keeping him sane. He couldn’t lose her too.
MC shook her head, “No… I’m withdrawing from Hogwarts,” she averted her gaze in shame, swallowing the lump in her throat, “after everything, I don’t know if I can stay here. So, I’m going back home—to my life before this all happened.”
“You can’t,” the phrase fell out of his mouth before he could think of a proper response, “you can’t leave.”
She let out a deep sigh, glancing back at him helplessly, “I can’t imagine having to remain here for another two years. Not after everything that happened, after I’ve lost Fig, after the incident with your uncle… Everything was because of me.”
“It’s not,” he interrupted her, his brows furrowing in frustration at the fact that she could blame herself for things that were entirely out of her control, “what happened wasn’t your fault.”
“It was,” MC insisted, growing more and more exasperated.
“MC,” he was unyielding.
“Sebastian,” MC chided him in return, as if she had exhausted all of her options.
He quickly grabbed her hand. He's losing her. “I don’t want you to go. I need you here,” he whispered as he peered at her solemn face.
“I’m sorry, Sebastian, but—” MC tore her hand away from his grasp.
"I know, MC. I know." Sebastian desperately tried to think of something to say, to stall their time together before she could slip away, "But… but what about us?"
There was a brief pause in their conversation as MC considered it, "what about us?" she repeated under her breath, "was there ever an us, Sebastian?”
Her words almost felt like a slap in the face, but she wasn't wrong. "Well, no," he admitted. "Not officially, I suppose. But I was always hoping for more," Sebastian looked back at her, his voice soft. "Did you... want there to be an us?"
"I did... before," she felt her heart wince at the thought of their past, "but I’m not certain if there can still be an us now."
They sat in silence once again, contemplating their words. Sebastian watched her as she looked out towards the water, the wind blowing loose strands of her hair into her face. He was reminded of how pretty she looked when they first met and why he had fallen for her in the first place.
“Tell me… why have you been avoiding me?” Sebastian questioned her earnestly.
“I could ask you the same thing,” an unamused pout appeared on her lips, “you were the one who stopped talking to me, Sebastian. You pushed me away.”
His ear piqued at her tone, growing mildly irate at the accusation. "Pushed you away? No, you started avoiding me every time I tried to be around you. Not all of it is because of me and you know it," he exclaimed, his jaw clenched, “don’t pretend like you tried to reach out… because now, now you’re just running away.”
“I did, Sebastian!” MC cried out in an attempt to get her point across, “I tried so hard to talk to you, but you closed me out. I figured that I wouldn’t ever be able to get through to you again,” her firm expression faltered as the tears pricked the corner of her eyes.
“After everything that happened, I needed to put myself back together. And what, that’s too much for you?!” his anger swelled in his chest.
Her hands curled into tight fists in frustration, “do you think that my heart isn’t a mess after all of this?!” her tears spilled over as her words came muddled with struggling sobs, “that you’re the only one who’s suffering?! God, Sebastian, you’re always so selfish!”
“Of course, I’m the selfish one,” he scoffed, folding his arms, “I should’ve known that you never cared.”
“Oh, I didn’t care about you?!” she responded sharply, “everything that I ever did was to make you happy.” MC let out a heavy sigh and straightened her stance, closing her eyes to gather her composure, “forget it, Sebastian. I’ve had enough and I’m tired of this. I’ve made up my mind, I’m leaving. Don’t make this harder than it already is.”
MC wiped her tears away with her sleeve, pivoting in the direction of the lake and burying her face in her arms to withdraw from him. The silence between them was deafening as the pressure worsened and Sebastian could sense just how quickly she was slipping through his grasp.
“W-Wait,” he reached out for her, “I didn’t mean—”
“Just go,” she spat out.
“No,” Sebastian asserted with a hint of determination, “I’m not leaving until I can at least convince you to stay. Until… Until I know where I stand with you,” he swallowed the nervous lump that formed in his throat.
MC hoisted her head up at his words. His eyes were fixed on her face, a glint of resolve within them as he tilted her chin to meet his gaze.
“Look, I’m sorry, all right? I’m sorry for the way I’ve been treating you for the last few weeks. I didn’t think I deserved to be around you after everything that happened, but I want to know…” he spoke sincerely, his expression soft.
MC’s eyes narrowed as she watched him carefully.
Sebastian continued, “do you love me, MC? Because I love you. More than anything. And I need you by my side, and I’ll be damned if I let you go.”
“What do you think?” She pressed her trembling lips together, “everything that I ever did was for your happiness because I loved you far too much to see you so wrecked over your sister’s condition.” MC averted her gaze, hanging her head as her voice fell to a whisper, “God… I love you, Sebastian. I love you so much that it hurts.”
She felt her heart throb achingly at her revelation.
“Then, stay,” he pleaded with her as he held her hand again, “I can’t imagine a future without you, without us. I need you, MC. I’d be an idiot if I just let you walk away that easily.”
“But…”
“Come here,” he took her into his arms before she could say another word, hugging her body tightly and laying a fond kiss over her forehead.
MC stilled for a moment before she eventually collapsed into his hold, a rush of tears overflowing down her cheeks again. She leaned in, burying her face into his collar as her cries stained his ivory dress shirt. He threaded his fingers through her hair, trying to soothe her with steady strokes.
“I’m an utter mess, Sebastian. I’m completely broken up. I’m afraid that my heart wouldn’t be able to love you in the way that you deserve,” MC’s knuckles gripped at his uniform as she wept, “and you deserve all the love that the world could give you.”
“Listen to me, I don’t want all the love in the world… Only yours,” he said softly and pressed his lips to the side of her head, “I don’t need you to be perfect, I just need you,” Sebastian had a small smile across his face, “I love all of you, MC. The curious girl, the brave girl, even the scared and angry one. I love the girl I met and all the versions of you that came after.”
“Sebastian…” she murmured.
“My heart has been through far more than you know,” he added with a sad chuckle, “but if it’s any consolation, you’ve somehow already managed to heal a lot of it just by being with me this past year. So, if you’re broken, then all I have to do is put you back together,” his voice cracked slightly, “and if you can’t give me your whole love, then I’ll be grateful to take the scraps…”
MC shifted away, releasing herself from his arms and reeling in from her tears.
“So, please… Don’t go,” he implored seriously, taking her face in his hands and caressing her reddened cheeks with his thumbs.
She looked into his eyes through her bleary vision, scrutinizing every little freckle of his façade as the rays of warm sunlight that streamed through the trees bathed his dark copper locks. She sniffled and inhaled deeply, various thoughts were running through her mind. Her breath hitched in her throat before she gave in to him and nodded.
“Okay,” she mumbled, “I’ll stay—I’ll stay with you, Sebastian.”
A bright smile spread across his face at the sound of her words and Sebastian could hardly stop himself from finally pulling MC in for a kiss. It was a real kiss this time, one that he had always wanted and that he had been hoping to share with her since the moment they met. His hand trailed up to the back of her head, his fingers laced within the strands of her hair as he drew her lithe figure into his embrace again. The sensation of her lips were a delight, so soft and sweet and warm, and everything he could have ever dreamed of.
MC could feel her heart pounding against her chest, the heat rising up to her face as a tingling sensation coursed through her veins. Her eyes drifted closed as she melted onto his lips, letting out a desperate whimper against his mouth in search of air. Sebastian, however, was just as stubborn as he had always been and refused to let the girl take a breath as he propped them up over the plush blue blanket. He savored the taste of her, the gravity of her presence bound against him, as if making up for all the time that they had wasted not being by each other’s side.
Then, he reluctantly let go, though just enough so that the tips of their noses still touched. Sebastian could feel MC’s sharp gasps brushing against his skin as she leveled her breaths.
“Just so you know,” he tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear and chuckled, nuzzling sweetly against her cheek, “I’m going to hold you to that promise. And in return… I swear that I’ll make you happier than you would have ever thought possible.”
MC’s face broke into a clumsy smile, shaking her head with a giggle before seizing Sebastian’s lips in another passionate kiss. They sealed the promises of their devotion to one another in the little cove, hidden away from the rest of the world.

After laying in bed for what seemed like the entire morning, MC finally decided not to waste a perfectly sunny Saturday locked up in the confines of her dormitory to stroll around Hogsmeade following a grueling week of classes. She could sense her head still reeling from its recent exertion, but she couldn’t think of a better way to get her mind off of things than to wander around the village and grab a small reward for her valiant effort.
Fortunately for her, she wasn’t going to be wandering through Hogsmeade alone when a certain Sebastian Sallow just so happened to catch her on her way out of the castle and insisted on tagging along. She didn’t mind, however, as she often sought his company in times when they weren’t together—and Sebastian was definitely not going to miss a chance to accompany her on what could be considered a date.
“Any particular reason why you wanted to go to Hogsmeade today?” Sebastian asked as they walked side by side along the cobblestone path, matching his pace with hers.
MC pursed her lips and thought for a moment, shrugging her shoulders, “the past week has taken quite a toll on me. I figured I could use a day to relax.”
“You’re telling me,” he sighed exaggeratedly, “those exams were dreadful. Almost made me wish I was in detention instead.”
She laughed at his quip, shaking her head, “then I suppose we’ve earned ourselves a little treat or two. What do you say we stop by Honeydukes for some sweets?”
“It’s almost like you read my mind,” he gave her a smirk, “shall we?”
MC happily agreed and the pair found their way towards High Street amongst the busy weekend crowd. Upon their arrival, the shop was already crammed with students and local villagers alike carrying handfuls of candy, perusing its aisles, and sampling the goods that the shopkeeper, Mr. Redding, had put out that morning. They squeezed past the throngs of people, browsing the fully stocked shelves and trying to determine which dessert had piqued their fancy that day.
“I’m rather partial to sugar quills,” Sebastian stated, plucking one of the brightly colored quills from the bunch that was kept on the nearby counter, “how about you?”
“Hmm… I’m fond of chocolate frogs. You really can’t go wrong with them,” she spoke to him as she stood on her toes, her hand outstretched to grab the sweet from the upper shelf, “and who wouldn’t want a neat collectible card?”
“You’ve got a point there,” he nodded with a chuckle.
Sebastian stepped closer to MC, absentmindedly hovering his arm overhead to help her take the box amid their chatter. She glanced up once she felt how close he was to her, taking in the sight of his profile with twinkling eyes.
“Ominis isn’t too happy with the number of cards I’ve collected over the years, which is, to say… a lot,” he snickered as he handed her the package with a hint of nonchalance, pretending not to notice the way she looked at him, “here.”
“Thank you,” she replied curtly.
He pivoted back around to see the other offerings in store before she could utter another word. MC trailed behind him, rounding the corner of the aisle by the rear of the shop until they came to an abrupt stop. She peeked over his shoulder and saw his attention caught by the tins of Bertie Botts’ Every Flavor Beans arranged in a row before him.
“Don’t tell me you’re going to get one,” MC had a weary look on her face knowing just how revolting some of those flavors can be.
“You know I have to,” Sebastian had a glint of mischief in his eyes, grabbing one of the striped containers from the display case and turning to face her.
Her eyebrows furrowed as she watched him unlatch its lid, immediately understanding what it was that he was up to. She glanced up at him and shook her head, backing away.
“Oh, no. You are not going to have me eat any of that,” MC crossed her arms.
“Come on, it’s really not that bad!” he chuckled as he pleaded with her, presenting her with a yellowish jelly bean pressed between his fingers, “just one?”
“Absolutely not. That could be vomit or rotten eggs for all I know.”
“Could be. What if it’s something good like marmalade or toffee?” he tried to reason with her.
“What if it isn’t?” MC raised a brow.
“Well, then… I suppose I’ll give you free reins to jinx me to your heart’s content.”
“You’re awfully confident with this,” she dropped her arms to her sides.
“I’ll take my chances,” he gave her a sly smirk, urging her to take the jelly bean.
MC pinched the candy from his hold, huffing out a defeated sigh before hesitantly popping it into her mouth. It only took one chew for the tart flavor to burst into her tastebuds, contorting her face into a pungent scrunch as the tanginess of the jelly bean puckered her lips.
“What is it?” Sebastian asked eagerly, curious whether she had consumed one of the nastier flavors.
“Lemon…” MC muttered as her lips parted in disgust, the jelly bean sauntering over the tip of her tongue.
“Lemon? That’s supposed to be one of the good ones!” He collapsed into a fit of laughter, “you look like you’ve eaten bogey. Be grateful it wasn’t that.”
“I despise lemon,” she grumbled, dismayed at the flavor that now assaulted her tastebuds.
Sebastian recovered from his amusement at her reaction, taking a deep breath to gather himself. He allowed his expression to soften when his eyes finally settled over her—and given how afflicted she seemed after eating the sour jelly bean, he figured that he at least owed it to her to ease some of the misery.
Before MC could realize what was happening, Sebastian had already reached forward to pull her closer to him, leaning in and capturing her lips in a kiss. MC’s eyes widened as she stood frozen in place, feeling his tongue glide over her lower lip and slip into her mouth to steal the half-melted jelly bean away.
Just as quickly as it happened, it was over. He drew back and flashed her a cheeky smile. She brought her fingertips up to her mouth, the trace of his warm lips still lingering over her own. Neither her heart nor her mind could catch up to the sensation of what he had done to her, and she could only stare at him in bewilderment.
“A lot better now, isn’t it?” he remarked, playing with the piece of candy in his mouth until it dissolved. His tastebuds were left with the zest of the lemon mingling alongside the sweetness of her lips.
Sebastian turned on his heel casually, pleased that he had managed to steal a kiss from the girl. There was a smug air in his step as he strolled away, glancing back from the corner of his eye as he waited for MC to chase after him.
Perhaps… lemon-flavored jelly beans weren’t so bad after all.
Made for Each Other
Sebastian Sallow x Reader
Summary: F!MC, Sebastian, and the classic “let’s compare hands” trope. Word count: 1.1k Tags: fluff. friends to lovers(?). Author’s notes: I just know they did this.
—
MC and Sebastian had their noses buried deep in stacks of dusty old tomes, fresh sheets of parchment, and vessels of ink as they spent the better part of the afternoon holed up in the library trying to finish an essay that Professor Ronen had assigned for homework. Although he was keen on reading books, Sebastian was never the most inclined to write essays. A part of him thought that it was a bit counterproductive to repeat what the textbooks had already mentioned. MC, on the other hand, worked as diligently as ever to complete what was given to her. The pair sat side by side on one of the desks tucked in a cozy hidden corner of the library, a small kerosene lamp illuminating the words on paper.
MC lost track of just how long they had been at the library by that point, having perused all of its shelves and sorted through the numerous books before them. Sebastian tried, and failed, to distract MC for the last few hours once he started becoming bored with what they were doing. They must have written over five pages on the topic now, but she resolved to maintain her focus on completing the essay before the dinner feast rather than entertaining his grumbles. She was more than aware that if she gave in to him now, she would never be able to submit the assignment in time.
Sebastian dotted the end of his paragraph with an imposing period, spilling a few tiny trickles of ink over the parchment. He let out a deep exhale as he felt his grip begin to tense up from all the writing he had done. He placed the quill by its tip in the bottle of ink and rested his hand over the surface of the table, a mere few centimeters away from MC’s own. He stole a glance at her and allowed an amused chuckle to escape his lips, taking note of her concentration that was intense enough to draw her eyebrows into a furrow. She finished the final section of her writing and set her quill down with a relieved sigh, leaning back against the cushion of the seat.
“Finally…” she mumbled and closed her mildly strained eyes, “that felt like it would never end.”
“Leave it to Ronen to give us an essay to review Levioso,” Sebastian shook his head and shrugged.
“His teaching methods have always been a little… unconventional,” MC stated, raising herself back up to gather the composition sheets into a pile.
As she maneuvered around to line the parchment into a neat stack and tapped its edges against the tabletop, Sebastian couldn’t help but notice how delicate her hands looked in comparison to his. It was definitely daintier in size and her gentle movements accentuated its elegant appearance.
“You know, for someone who’s spent most of the past few months fighting goblins and dark wizards, your hands certainly seem to look otherwise,” he remarked.
She turned her attention to him and tilted her head in confusion, “what do you mean?”
Sebastian grabbed her hand without a second thought, placing it in his grasp as he situated it between them to show her what he meant. MC’s cheeks flushed softly at the contact, not used to being so close to him like this.
“Your hands are so soft and smooth, hardly any callouses or scars from your battles. If I didn’t know you, I would never assume that you’re quite the fierce opponent!” he said as he inspected her hand, scrutinizing every joint, every little mole, and every wrinkle that formed on her skin. He saw how slender her fingers were as well as her perfectly manicured nails, showing almost no signs of combat.
“Oh, well, thank you…” she flashed him a sweet smile.
“I mean, just look at mine! I’ve gotten so many marks from dueling and practicing spells, and got a couple just from helping out around Feldcroft,” Sebastian spoke candidly, “I can even remember how I got most of them,” he laughed as he repositioned his hold to press her palm against his.
“And I suppose it is quite small in comparison to yours,” she nodded with a giggle, peering over at the callouses and scars that were laden across his appendages.
Sebastian’s attention was fixated on her hand resting across his own, his gaze shifting up in curiosity to see her expression. He began to wonder if she could hear his heart pounding through his chest, potentially betraying his overt confidence—and, upon realizing that he had been looking at her for a minute too long, was suddenly concerned at the way his stares could probably give away just how smitten he was by her.
MC’s laughter subsided and her smile faded away. She swallowed the small lump that had formed in her throat as her eyes flickered up to see his face, observing his reaction when she curled her fingers down to intertwine amongst his own. Her breathing slowed to a still beat as she mustered up her next words.
“They fit rather perfectly together, don’t you think?” her tone was subdued and meek.
“...Like they were made for each other?” Sebastian gave her a charming smirk.
She felt her breath hitch in her throat as she looked at him with wide eyes. There was a brief silence that fell over them as the two were trying to gauge their feelings for one another, thoroughly considering which direction their friendship should go following everything that had happened between them. MC’s cheeks were tinted with a more visible crimson hue, averting her gaze and pulling her hand away as she grew bashful of their exchange.
“Sorry, I got a little carried away,” she murmured sheepishly.
Sebastian would be lying if he said he didn’t feel slightly disappointed when she released his hand. He feigned a reassuring smile, “you don’t need to apologize. I got carried away, too—but I quite liked it actually,” he chuckled.
“Ah…” her mouth parted after hearing his words, feeling the pit of her stomach fill with a nearly endless horde of butterflies. Unable to come up with a response, MC could only allow him to continue. It was evident that he was a bit timid as well, considering his following words carefully.
“So… I hope you wouldn’t mind if we did it again,” he reached over and laced their hands together once more, raising it up to his lips to brush a coy kiss over her knuckles.
MC’s heart practically burst at what he had done. She squeezed his hand in acknowledgment of their now-apparent mutual feelings for one another and met his smile with one of her own, determined not to let go this time around.

“Quite the view, isn’t it, darling?” Sebastian remarked under his breath. He looked around for a moment in appreciation of his surroundings.
“It is,” you replied. You were equally in awe of the twinkling lights that shone below, highlighting the streets of the romantic city that was buzzing with people. You stood beside Sebastian, leaning over the elaborate wrought iron rail of the large balcony. The warm summer breeze brushed against your skin. You glanced at Sebastian, admiring his features imbued under the dusky glow.
"...Though, I suppose I won't be spending too much time looking out from this terrace, if you know what I mean,” he gave you an implying smirk, wrapping an arm around you to hoist your body closer to him.
“Right… because that means we’ll be exploring the city to see the sights,” you reminded him, resting your head against his shoulder.
“That, and the ‘sight’ of you without that dress,” he murmured with a sly smile, gripping your hips and pivoting you around to meet his face. Your blush was visible even beneath the stars, though the sultry look in your gaze hinted otherwise. He drew closer to you, your plump and rosy lips were a mere centimeter away from his, and you looked deeply into his brown eyes. The clamor from the personnel within the suite subsided once they had finished putting away your belongings. Your ears picked up the sound of the door latching shut and you were both left alone in the grand room.
You giggled breathlessly, “I don't suppose you would mind if we forgo our dinner reservations tonight," your fingertip traced circles on his jaw, “to celebrate our marriage in… another way.”
He became giddy at your suggestion. Your touch sent sparks up and down his vertebrae and his lips closed the distance between you, meeting your own in a searing kiss.
“Perhaps a change of plans is in order,” he said.
You wrapped your arms around him in an embrace and deepened your kiss, moving your lips ardently against his. You threaded your fingers through his soft brunette locks, smiling over his mouth and mumbling in between your saccharine motions, “let's stay in tonight.”
Sebastian pulled away briefly to catch his breath and you leered at him with half-lidded eyes filled with desire, biting your lip. He hummed in response before lifting your body into his arms as you wrapped your legs around his hips with a hazy laugh. He supported your frame in his hold, chuckling and turning on his heel to retire into the suite for the rest of the evening.
—
Sebastian kissed you with such profound purpose, as if trying to convey every minuscule atom of his love for you. He bent down just enough to rest you upon the plush cushion of the bed, not letting go of your tender lips as he undid the dainty buttons of both your dress and his shirt. The bed creaked from beneath you, not enough to disturb your passion however, and your features were dimly illuminated by the soft and warm light of the bedroom torch.
He distracted you with his lips and his hands, sending you into an ethereal spiral of cluttered thoughts and messy moans. You gripped his hair in your fist, stifling a mewl from spilling out as your body bloomed into a shade of crimson at his every touch. Sebastian kissed the corner of your mouth, trailing his lips in a chaste sequence toward your jaw and your neck before reaching your collar. He left smooches along your chest and your shoulder, chasing the path of your flushed supple skin that was languidly revealed by the cloth slipping down your hedonic figure. He tugged on the fabric until it was strewn across the floor, immediately following his seductive movements by discarding your undergarments. You shivered at the sudden sensation of cool air that swathed your form and he pulled away to marvel at your alluring physique laid bare before him. Sebastian breathed in, his eyes exuding an intense look of longing as he scrutinized every detail of your body, from the subtle curves of your waist to the finest little marks that dotted your skin.
“You are so… so beautiful, Y/N…” he let out a dreamy sigh as he bowed down again to capture your lips in his. It was slow at first, and almost prudent. But, as his yearning for your warmth grew in his focus, so did the depth of his kiss. You couldn’t help the whimper that escaped your throat as his fingers explored your body, your hand grasping the cloth of his shirt to catch what was left of your conscience from falling deeper into the abyss of his lust. He trailed a fingertip down the length of your smooth navel, traveling towards your hips and in between your thighs in short, feathery touches. Your mouth parted slightly which only invited him to lapse his tongue with yours. Sebastian kissed you hungrily like he wanted to devour you whole, and he could taste the sweet remnants of the wine that you had shared earlier that day. His hand deviated back to your chest, cupping your breast in his palm and giving it gentle caresses as his thumb grazed over the nub of your aroused nipple.
You broke away from his hold, soft and struggling inhales lingered in your lungs. You looked at him in desperation, yanking at his garments in an attempt to do away with it. You could feel the pit of your stomach flutter as the heat arose in your core, thoroughly soaking your delicate folds.
“Sebastian, p-please…” you murmured, growing impatient with him.
Sebastian conceded at the expression that you showed him and flashed a charming smirk in return.
“Of course, my love,” he whispered in your ear, his breath tickling your lobe.
You watched attentively as he stripped away from his attire and hovered over your again, dipping each other down further onto the mattress. His broad shoulders and handsome face peppered with the freckles that you adored so much encompassed your entire periphery. You reached up, placing a hand over his cheek and brushing against it. An enamored smile curved on his lips when his eyes met your own. He could see his reflection in your bright pools, dilated pupils bearing pure devotion to him.
“I love you, Sebastian,” you spoke faintly as if every word mustered up all your energy.
“I love you, too, Y/N,” Sebastian leaned down and bestowed a kiss on your cheek, nestling his face into the crook of your neck to take in your subtle scent.
You circled your arms around him, your fingers drifting over the outline of his spine and your eyelids flickering closed. His voice exuded a low chuckle at the feeling of your light strokes and he proceeded to leave more patches of pecks on your skin, each growing sharper than the one preceding it. An eager hand explored your figure again, following the contours of your curves. He caught you completely unguarded when he sucked particularly hard against the pulse of your neck, nipping a bite and leaving a darkened wound. Your eyes shot open at the sting of the bruise and your breath hitched in your throat, but before you could react, Sebastian dragged his lips down from your bust and across your abdomen. His agile maneuver parted your legs and he dropped an array of loving kisses from your inner thigh until reaching your ankle, supporting your limb in his hold before setting it over his shoulder. You all but melted from his actions, trembling from the burgeoning sensitivity rooted inside your being, your mind entirely ravished in the sweet sensations.
Sebastian observed your façade as his fingers ran over your sensitive slit, prompting a whine to drip from your mouth.
“S-Sebastian…!” you shot him an antsy look.
He snickered and teased you for a few seconds more, thoroughly amused by your flustered reactions before he pressed the pad of his thumb over your pulsating bundle of nerves, rubbing it in slow and even circles. Your voice stammered disjointed cries as the sheer euphoria engulfed your body, your toes straining in delight. Sebastian reveled in the rich sound of your moaning his name and pursued your pleasure even further, slipping two fingers into your drenched slick and curling it just enough to hit the right spot within you. You tilted your head back against the cushion, cinching the sheets in your hands until your knuckles paled in color. Your chest heaved in shallow breaths while your teeth dug into the flesh of your lower lip as you felt your walls constricting around his digits.
“W-Wait, I—...!” you begged, helplessly trying to restrain yourself from giving in to his titillation, “Seb, s-stop, I’m going to…!”
He immediately stopped at your request, understanding exactly what you wanted from him. Though he made sure to prolong the process of culling his fingers out of you to peer at your writhing form. Sebastian shifted your leg off of his shoulder and seized your hips to secure your placement before him. You still reeled in from your near collapse as the stirring in your core faded away. You cocked your head up to look at him in anticipation, ogling at the way his hand glazed his shaft with your sweet nectar. His eyes met yours and he smirked. You immediately reddened at your interaction and averted your sight.
“All these years and you’re still flustered?” Sebastian asked, leaning over to smooch your forehead.
“C-Can’t help it,” a subtle pout appeared on your lips.
He chuckled again and crawled over you, his hand grappling at your bottom and leaving flushed indents on your skin. He prodded your entrance with the tip of his length and nudged inwards until you were both perfectly united within. You gasped at the contact, your veins jolting in shock, and was met by a groan rising out of his throat. Your snug heat adjusted to his girth as it throbbed deliciously around him, coupled with the echo of your labored pants and the sting of your nails burrowing into his shoulders caused Sebastian’s eyes to nearly roll out of his skull in ecstasy.
He took a minute to gather himself before pulling back out, “you feel amazing, sweetheart,” he muttered and pressed a kiss on the temple of your head.
Sebastian pushed back into your pith again, drawing out a mewl from your mouth. His gaze trailed down your luscious figure to the spot where the two of you were connected as he gradually increased the pace of his thrusts. He placed his forearm beneath the small of your back, curving your body to ram the blunt head of his shaft directly onto your sweet spot.
Your incoherent whimpers turned into messy cries of his name and pleas to go harder, faster. His wanton movements were driving you mad, your mind clouded with nothing but images of his face and your desire to reach your peak. You could sense yourself closing in around his pumps, minuscule tears pricking the corners of your eyes.
“S-Sebastian, I—mmph!” Your words were silenced by his lips slamming against yours in a sloppy kiss. He swallowed your frantic sobs before releasing your mouth with a loud smack, in tandem with tearing himself away from you just before you could hit your climax.
You stared at him with wide eyes, startled by what he had done as you hurried to catch your breath. You were mildly disappointed that he had stopped before you could finish. Sebastian cast a mischievous look on his face as he moved back to join you.
“Not yet, darling,” he said slyly, “you wouldn’t want to end the night so quickly now, would you?” His smile was impish and suggestive.
You shook your head in response, allowing him to take the lead again. He hauled your body and flipped your atop the bed, bending your over. His hands clamped over your hips as your weight rested on your hands and knees. You could barely see beyond the veil of your hair falling over your eyes, but you could feel him steady himself behind you. Before you could react, he drove his hard length deep into your core again, and you nearly screamed at the intrusion. His brisk momentum returned, colliding between your tight walls. You were in shambles once more as you let out feeble whimpers from his shove. The pressure rapidly grew in the pit of your abdomen and your shaky arms gave in, toppling over the mattress. You anchored yourself on the bed’s surface, crumpling the fine linen fabric in your fists. Sebastian yanked you backward by the arm to press your back against his chest, and you let out a yelp in surprise. He continued the vicious onslaught of his thrusts as he firmly enveloped you in his arms, one was placed over your chest while the other was wrapped around your waist. His hand cupped your breast again, kneading it tenderly in his fingers as his mouth worked additional kisses, bruises, and bites over your neck and shoulders.
You were completely drunk with his essence, a string of saliva from your kiss dangled over your swollen lips. You were overstimulated by it all, not entirely sure where you should focus your attention, though it was not as if you had an ounce of coherence left in your brain. The blissful tears that welled in your eyes ran down your cheeks whilst you ineffectively tried to stifle your moans. His thrusts grew clumsy as he neared his peak, indulging in everything that you had to offer him.
“Oh, Y/N…” he groaned into your ear, “so good for me… my love…” his hand began tracking up your bosom and winding around your neck.
“S-Sebastian, p-please, please…” you choked out desperately, your eyes pinched shut as the pleasure overwhelmed your body, “I have to—“
He let go of your neck and held your cheek, guiding it towards his face and kissing you to distract you. His tongue entangled with yours, savoring the delectable taste of your mouth. Muffled sounds vibrated against his lips as you chased your high and you could feel herself quivering at your looming release. Then, he ceased his actions again, and you were flung back into the throes of reality.
You let go and griped at him, almost unamused, “you’re cruel…”
Sebastian chuckled, “I want to see you when we do it,” he spoke sincerely as he shifted your position.
You straddled his hips, your legs spread on either side of his supine form. Your slender digits held his aching shaft as you prepared to sink yourself into him. With an idle motion, you plunged down, your walls already accustomed to his girth. Still, you couldn’t help the gasp that slipped out of your throat. Your brows were furrowed in concentration in spite of your hazy disposition, wrapping your arms around his neck to support yourself. His hands latched onto your plush bottom and started gently rolling your core over him.
Sebastian glanced up at you, taking in your sanguine beauty with infatuated eyes. He was utterly captivated by you, even more so than when he first laid his eyes on you. A part of him could still hardly believe that you were with him, like this. He caressed the silhouette of your figure, gliding his palm up and down the sides of your torso as he peppered affectionate kisses across your chest. You furled your hips together with his ministrations, the tip of his length grinding repeatedly against your sweet spot. You keened enthusiastically, lacing your fingers through the strands of his hair and tousling it. Your movements evolved into a steady cadence, bobbing in even motions over his lap.
Sebastian buried his face into the cleavage of your breasts, heaving out his ragged inhales that tickled the smooth surface of your skin. He broke away and peered up at you, “you’re absolutely perfect, Y/N…” he sighed, becoming breathless as he revered your exquisite figure that sheathed his own, and situated an embrace around your waistline. The pleasure from your warmth consumed his psyche and coursed thickly through his veins.
You could barely acknowledge his statement, much less come up with a response to it. Your whole world was spinning off of its axis as your thighs quivered at the imminent arrival of your release. With your heart pounding, the only noise that managed to spew out of your mouth was muddled whimpers of his name.
“S-Seb…!” you sobbed out, the cloying rhythm of your pelvis roused in pursuit of pure ecstasy, “I’m going to, I’m…! Please!” you clung on to the final thread of your lucidity, your fingernails clawing into his back.
Sebastian cooed, reaching up to hold your cheek and kissing your lips passionately. “Go on, I’m here. I’ve got you, Y/N,” he finally granted you the climax that he had withheld all evening.
At the sound of his voice, your body collapsed into an intense, mind-numbing sensation. Your eyes were overrun with stars, your ears ringing sharply, and your mind was void of any thoughts as the heavenly rapture engulfed your entire being. You cried for him loudly, over and over. He felt your sodden walls tighten around him as you rode out your high, the feverish contact between the two of you almost left him unhinged as he instinctively buckled his hips. He lost himself in a frenzied surge of haphazard thrusts, plunging deeper into your core until he caved in and finished within, twitching as his white-hot bliss thoroughly filled your insides. Sebastian moaned your name, grasping a fistful of your locks as the feeling began to ebb away. You were both panting heavily against each other’s chest.
He reeled in and rested back on the pillows, his arms still upholding your spent form. You were limp over his shoulders and your breaths became quiet. You were completely intoxicated, and he couldn’t help but chuckle. Sebastian carefully lifted you off of him and drops of the milky liquid dribbled out of your slit and down your inner thigh. You felt an emptiness when he removed himself from your body and you shifted in bed to pull the covers over your nude physique. You leered at him with half-lidded eyes, and a dazed smile crept up to your mouth.
“Are you all right, my love?” he asked sweetly, leaning over to press a soft kiss on your lips.
You nodded, humming in response. “How about you?” your tone was mellow. You took a nimble hold of his hand and entwined your fingers with his.
“Never better,” he grinned, pecking your knuckles with a smooch before letting go to stand up, “shall I get a bath started for us?”
“...would be lovely,” you blinked in an attempt to adjust your dulled vision, wanting to get a look at Sebastian. Just as he began to walk away, you called out for him again, “Seb?”
“Yes?” he looked over his shoulder, halting in his tracks.
“I love you.”
“I love you more.”
