Love at 25 is the hardest battle to fight.

Finding it, opening yourself up to it, knowing it, wanting it, feeling deserving of it, keeping it, holding onto it, sacrificing for it, making it last... and not letting it kill you.

One day I hope you get to experience what unconditional, true, selfless love is. I hope you get to experience a love connection with someone so strong, it grounds you. Orients you. Gives you a purpose and a belief that you have a place in the world, with this person, forever. That forces stronger than gravity and magnetism do actually exist and it’s the connection of two souls, committed to each other. I hope you get to experience this kind of love for what it is, seismic and life-changing.

I don’t know if I’ll ever experience that kind of love again but at least I know what it looks and feels like. I know what not to settle for... anything less than nuclear.
