The last few weeks have been so depressing and overwhelming, so Pokemon Go could not have come out at a better time. I may be wasting away my days and gas money but it’s been so nice to have something fun and distracting in between going to rallies, just to keep my spirits up. It’s been really nice to see other people talk about friends their making and how happy they are playing it. Then of course something had to ruin it. This shit is not okay. The landmark descriptions on Pokemon Go come from an older app and weren’t vented very well because obviously there’s a lot of ground to cover. This needs to be changed ASAP.

Justice for Julian Cole, a 5'5’’ man brutally attacked by 6 police officers in the UK who is now brain dead. This man was a science student at the university of Bedfordshire and now has been reduced to a vegetative state. There is a global attack on black people!

Julian Cole’s injuries consisted of a “hangman fracture”, which as the name suggests, is associated with the suddenly and violent pulling backwards of the head, usually when there is a counterforce against the body. In May 2013, on a night out with friends, Julian was seized by police officers. Witnesses saw his unconscious body dragged across the road in the direction of a police van. At this point his neck had been broken; he had suffered a severe spinal injury and was unresponsive. The officers failed to provide him with basic first aid and he was driven instead to a police station. He remained unresponsive and an ambulance was called. Julian suffered a severe brain injury due to lack of oxygen reaching his brain and had a cardiac arrest.

Police told the family he was still talking after the ‘incident’ which doctors said could have not been true as you cannot speak whilst having a severed spinal cord. Police then told the family he was intoxicated, doctors said that was a lie as little to no traces of alcohol was found in his system. His family still have not got their justice and the 6 imbeciles are still walking free.

This happened in 2013 yet the IPCC are still “investigating” this case.
