Okay, can someone tell me why everyone is more concerned with the hay ride and haunted house when there’s a ton of carnival games? No, really. You guys have fun. I’ll be taking advantage of the lack of lines at all the games.

I don't know about the hay ride, but the haunted house has more potential to being entertaining then the rest. Not to mention that it's always fun watching people get scared at fake bats or silly monster decorations. I'm here for the food, drinks and the occasional drama that happens at every event we have. What game are you most looking forward for?

Alright kiddos, it’s that time of the year again and I know how much of us still like to go trick-or-treating. I just want to remind everyone to practice their survival skills and make sure to look both ways when crossing streets, stick with a safety buddy, and well, I was about to say don’t accept candy from strangers but I suppose that’s kind of the point.

Boring. Halloween is supposed to be fun and spontaneous. Where is the fun of trying to keep it safe? The worst that could happen is someone falling down from being too drunk and between you and me that would be hilarious.

The apology came as somewhat of a shock, if there was a reason for it she didn’t catch what it was. So she shrugged it off and instead gave the idea some actual thought, her whole life having been spent on dreaming of one day becoming a cop left her without any daydreams of Harper the Hollywood actress. She supposed that now it would be too late for that dream to come true, but that was alright since it didn’t quite seem like her thing. But one play might be fun, it was a new experience and she liked those. “Oh, okay so question. Is that going to be one of those where there’s just a lot of songs or one where there’s only singing and maybe one or two spoken lines? Are those still musicals or are those something else? I’ve never understood the difference really, I mean, it’s all singing and – oh, that’s uh… over-complicating again, isn’t it?”

Sydney waited while Harper gave it a thought on her offer. Had the raven hair girl not been in such a desperate attempt on finding a new actress she would have just left by now but alas she was. She was tired of the same people getting the leading roles only to give half ass performance because they thought they were too famous for school productions. Sydney's ass was still on the line, if she wanted a job as a director someday. "Yes, it's over-complicating again but it's still a musical" she answered figuring that she shouldn't be outright rude, especially if she wanted Harper to join the drama club. "I'm honestly not sure you'd think we would have the musical set by now but people want to do Meangirls, while others want to stay with the classics like West Side Story." Sydney said with a tired sigh while pinching the bridge of her nose feeling a headache already coming back. "Anyways that's a headache for another day. Can I count on you to join or would I have to use wicked forms to change you mind?" She said with a serious tone but was only half joking. The theatre was no joke to her but she knew not everyone was as passionate about it as she was.

She blinked at the question, not really sure how to respond. "Judging what,” was the first thing that popped to mind, but she was uncertain if the answer would be her or not. She didn’t feel like being put down – it was a great day! The start of the weekend! She’s rather focus on having fun for the next few days and instead opted to just answer the question. “Well, I’ve never not thought about it. Or thought about not doing it. And I’ve definitely never not thought about not doing it. Why? You holding auditions for something?”

Sydney ignored the girl's question as she thought of what role she would fit better on. She had so many ideas for different roles but she also knew that it wouldn't be just on her to make the decision and the fact that Syd needed to see the stranger's real skill was a major factor. "It was a simple yes or no question, do you always over complicate everything?" She asked Harper not before realizing she needed to be nicer if she was going to convince her to audition for the fall musical. "I'm sorry, lack of coffee gets me in a bad mood" she apologized "We have a fall musical coming up and the community theater is always looking for new talent if you're interested."

Excuse you, confidence isn’t ego - in fact, I wish all girls could be as confident as I am, and I certainly don’t tear down positive traits when I see them in others, but you do you, Sydney. I’m saying hair with highlights could frame your face better than its framed now, and I totally believe your soul has some light in it, even if it’s just an itty-bitty pinprick. Nobody’s soul is that dark; everyone at least has an inner kid, and that part is always pure.

Having confidence in yourself is an attractive trait, Q, but I was referring to the fact that you were surprised that not everyone is talking about you and your sister. The attention seeking trait of yours would be good for show business, so relax. I guess, how about this? I'll think about it and if one day I do decided to go for it I'll give you full credit. Inner kid? You do remember who my father is right? My inner kid is pretty much as dark as the rest of my soul, it's written in the stars there's no going back.

So I just finished reading The Sun is Also a Star. Which, in my opinion, was much better and truer to life than Everything, Everything even though that seems to be the Nicola Yoon book everyone had their panties in a twist over. But not my point, the book prominently featured a theory that anyone would fall in love after taking a 36 question quiz featured in a New York Times article. So I want to test that theory, who wants to go tit for tat with me and take the quiz? If I’m not in love with you afterwards, you owe me a new book.

Haven't read it but it sounds like every typical romance novel that I hate. The theory sounds like such a bored and why would I give you a new book? You're the one wasting my time, shouldn't you offer me something in return? It's the least you can do if I do agree with this, Eliza.

She slung her back over her shoulder as she skipped down the hall, singing to herself about it being Friday. When she came across a (hopefully) friendly face Harper came to a stop, hopping into the spot next to the other and beamed at them. “It’s Friday~” she held the note a moment, finishing her show in a frenzy of jazz fingers. “Whatcha doin’?”

Sydney raised a brow at the girl before her wondering what her deal was. She understood people getting hyped up for the weekend and even she can say she's guilty of random singing herself but to do it to a stranger? "Judging" she said honestly before sighing "but mostly thinking. Have you ever thought about singing on stage? Or done any acting?" she asked her wondering if she had potential to audition for the fall musical. Sydney has been waiting for this moment since last fall, she always took her job as a stage manager seriously and she was not about to deal with any difficult actor.

Thank god for coffee and snacks because it’s the only thing that’s gotten me through the first day back to school. There’s nothing worse than changing a route then having to change it back again after a few months. Anyway, how was everyone else’s day? I’m curious to know who’s all excited to be back and who’s already dreading it.

That's how show business usually works hot stuff, but I get it. School can be difficult to most people that they feel like it's suffocating or draining. We can't all be as gifted as myself, I use my energy on better things. I haven't tried killing anyone so you can say my day has been going well. Besides the obvious how are your classes?
