“Well coming back here and seeing you again is a gift enough for me,” he winked in return. “Speaking of going home, you going back to Ireland?”

“You’re too kind,” Landon said, laughing. “Uh, I think I’ll be spending the summer in London this year. Parents will come visit halfway through, Eoghan will spend a few weekends at mine. He’ll be so excited to see you, really,”

Fiona barely caught his rambling as she twirled her wand between her fingers before grasping it and expertly conjuring the spell first, in order to teach it correctly. “Perfect,” she nodded, “great, so–” she looked up at him when he commented on her jacket, smiling as she leaned against the window, “I don’t feel the cold, I have this sort of energy magic that can manipulate the temperature around me..I learned to do it a long time ago..want me to show you really quickly?”

“That’s actually insane. I’ll just appreciate the fact that you can do it, I’ll respect the natural balance of temperature,” Landon laughed, completely honest at that point. “But you should absolutely show me how you do it, because that sounds like some such wicked.” He flips through his book, trying to find something about the spell she was talking about. “I’ll bookmark it, yeah? I think I’ll be taking a Charms class next year and I don’t want to look like a total idiot.”

It took Ashton a moment to process it all. Looking up at him again, she couldn’t hide the hurt that was in her eyes. They weren’t together and she knew it was her fault. She kissed him and just left but it still hurt that that was what he did right after it happened. “Oh.” Was all she said, as she looked away from him. Ashton honestly had no idea how to react in the situation. She wasn’t mad…. just upset. “I mean… it’s your right to do that if you wanted to. It’s not like we were together.” She said, trying to keep the hurt from her voice.

Landon knew that her reaction wasn’t going to be good, but it still felt like someone punched him in the stomach. “I know that, I do... I just think that if we’re ever going to do anything that I shouldn’t start it being dishonest?” He said quietly, not meaning to assume something that wasn’t true. Maybe Ashton wouldn’t even want anything, after all this. “Just. Sorry. I wanted you to know. And I haven’t been sleeping well, so, that’s why I thought I’d let you sleep.”

“We can do the training when we get to the park,” he grinned. “What a great Christmas present..talking about presents…I haven’t got you one for Christmas have I?” He walked them towards the dog park.

“I just can’t tell her no,” Landon admitted, shaking his head at where he thought Logan was going. “I mean, you’ve graced me with your presence... That’s Christmas enough for me,” He teased, a cheeky smile on his face. “Nah, no worries. I had sent yours to Australia anyways, so your mum has it and you’ll get it when you go home.”

Landon had just finished packing up his quidditch equipment and celebrating with his team when he saw Astrid, instantly waving to her. “Hey, that was a sick save when I was trying to go for the left side,” He complimented, grinning like she hadn’t totally shut his attempt at scoring down. Honestly, that was so thirty minutes ago for him. “You busy? We could grab drinks, talk quidditch,” @shortylike-astrid

“Yes which is good because we’ll get crossbred puppies!” He beamed as he started walking. “Princess Puppy sounds fantastic. What breed is she by the way?”

“I haven’t even trained this dog, I can’t think of anymore. Actually, nevermind, I love puppies let’s do it,” Landon changed his mind quickly, rather pleased that Puppy is walking well. “Dachshund. I got her for Christmas, it was great,”
