Aaaah here is the third page for week 3 of Funguary!

Second lore drop below

In the enchanted forest with the mushfolk and mushroom fairies, there are also mushroom nymphs living in the deepest parts of the woods. These nymphs, on the contrary to their sisters, reached immortality by fusing or being taken over by fungi when they reached the end of their life cycle. Some of them are even older than the gods themselves, some of them are so old they lost the ability to communicate with other magical creatures. There are cases of young mushroom nymphs but those were most likely mortally wounded and saved by the fungi that closed the wounds.

This time i posted later than usual bc i have been busy, but I'm also working on some cool new projects that i will share later this month!

So for the time being enjoy these funky designs with which i had luts of fun.

This time with lore!

So these little fellas are part of a miniserie of my creation called 'Mean Little Fairies", where fairies are the mischievous protagonists. These mushroom fairies are long lost cousins of the more humanoids one and live deep in the magical forests where humans and animals alike do not dare to venture. So, to survive, they evolved by becoming part mushroom themselves for compensating the lack of resources they could feed on (mammals, including humans). Unfortunately, exactly due to their appearance, they are frequently mistaken by more humanoid fairies and magical creatures that inhabit these environments as normal mushrooms, so they get eaten and there are cases of accidental cannibalism between fairies. Some of these mushroom looking creatures developed multiple eyes to look out from predators, some of them have their vitals protected by unexpected hard shells and so on.

After watching Iron Lung, I caught up with the latest stream and absolutely loved it

I rushed these more than anything, but I like the colours. Love Max's ginormous golden ponytail and Mr. Wizard's fake beard is a must. Might still do some changes, but I'm happy with these.
