Hi.

With this side blog I’ll be posting a Loki Series Rewrite webcomic. Forgive my art, this is the first time I'm drawing a story. I dedicate this to my friend Sapphire. if not for anyone else, I’ll commit to actually finish this for her.

In this rewrite I'll mostly follow the series’ story beats but with the events play out differently. Officially I’ll start from Roxxcart at episode 2 but add flashback scenes for parts I want to change. Plot holes i want to address and characters to flesh out include-

If just to prune them why not just straight away? Bringing them to the Time-Keepers is pointless. Unless…

Can something else save them from Lamentis other than the power of contrived romance?

Lamentis Page 10 My rewrite is slowly but surely, actually on some sort of pace. Hopefully i can keep this up. Loki's trying to built rapport through a little teasing. (Much better than endless simping). Also the run-down shack they ran into for shelter in the series won't stop a meteor any better than a tent, so i made it into an actual shelter.

Alligator Loki is the shapeshifter of the team. He only does reptiles though. Especially dinosaurs.

Lamentis Page 08/09

I'm Alive! Still working on my rewrite comic after over 2 years :') I'm still deciding if i should watch season2 as it comes out or binge it all together 6 weeks from now. Either way it won't change my current story direction so i'll just binge it after most likely. I'm totally ok with spoilers in my comments or messages tho.

But first, new page new page! I rewrote this part to remove Loki's constant simping over Sylvie in the series. She's the one that should want to protect him because she needs him alive. At the moment he'll content being dragged around because he has no idea what's going on. Also they actually use magic shields here. I don't remember they actually used any magic during this part of the series. First bonding moment under that truck tho. How cute.

Hey guys, season 2 is this Friday!

Just a hunch, but based on season 1, I think I am probably not going to like how it ends :P

I wonder how much of season 2 will match or clash with the current end goal of my story. I’ll do a short point form here so I can say later that “I totally called it!” or “That was very retarded, I already thought of something way better.”:

After all the dust is settled, Sylvie becomes the new leader of the TVA.

But because she was a lone wolf for so long, she realised she can’t lead anyone for shit.

While Loki could step up in her stead, being the head means not leaving the TVA often. That means no magic. So no, he rather not.

Position is relinquished to kid Loki. He’s the responsible type. Quite stuffy and a bit of a square. He suppressed his chaotic side out of guilt for what he did to his brother.

They restructured the TVA together. Streamlined it to prepare for its new purpose of only interfering if there is conflict between timelines.

Thus starts their Doctor Who -esque adventures. Between the 4 of them (Loki, Syl, kid Loki, and gator Loki), they take turns going on missions in pairs.

Kid Loki almost always stays at the TVA and acts as command centre with Mobius.

Alligator Loki’s “Aesir Form” is revealed in one of said missions. The other 3 are… a bit surprised by the revelation of what he actually is. (I will make a comic about this eventually lol. Spoilers.)

Lamentis Page 04/05/06/07

This is me, a week after season 2's trailer release, realising that i'm never gonna get shit done if i only post full coloured pages. I'm gonna try to churn as many drafts as i can now. They are gonna suck in art quality, but at least i won't get burned out as fast between pages.

Plot that i try to change from season 1: -Loki doing research so he have actual cards to play in his game of life or death. -Sylvie's tempad having an actual reason for running out of battery mid-mission. Seemed like a very easy, very dumb and very avoidable way to die in the series.

Exactly what will you do when the second season of Loki premieres on the blog? By the way, I really like this alternate history.

Eh, I'll see. I was already gonna follow season 1's story up to the citadel, and I planned season 1 to insert season 2 in mind. However I do already have a sort of ending I'm aiming towards. So if season 2 doesn't diverge too much from my own planned ending, I'll follow it. If it does... I'll make something up as I go.

Regardless, thanks so much for following my story! The lack of views has been a little discouraging lately... But for the ones still keeping up, I'll do my best for you!

Remember the prologue I posted? I realised i haven’t drawn the kids in over a year.

Recap: Years on the run, but when she was still a child, Sylvie tries to go home after the TVA’s pursuit of her dies a bit down, where she finds Thor. And Loki. Her timeline has already been destroyed. Where ever she’ll go, another Loki will already be in her place. Mourning her lost, she decided to rebuilt her relationship with her brother as a stranger. All under the watchful eye of a fiercely jealous Loki... and Sif.

The battle over Thor’s brotherly affection begins!

We all know it’ll end in tragedy.

It was never really explained why Sylvie changed her name in the series. She was just mildly offended when called a Loki, and they hand-waved it as her alias or something. Over in my version however...

She has to have a very negative impression on Lokis to denounce her birth name when she was completely fine with it before. Right?

Heyyy, thanks for the sudden increase in likes for the past week. It reminded me that i still need to finish the next page. Here it is.

Loki should use his powers for manipulation more. It suits him. The gun doesn’t work against Loki anymore outside the TVA. Still effective against mortals though.
