There was a buzzing sensation every time she touched this creature. She wasn’t super fond of this feeling but she knew what it felt like to be a fish out of a water, and despite the slight inconvenience it was to deal with Venom, she chose kindness over self-preservation right now. But perhaps….that wasn’t the best idea.
Hearing the voice made her jump, hands unconsciously lighting up with Starbolts in preparation for some sort of enemy or threat. But she looks around and can find none. Whatever she was facing, hearing - was inside her head, and it was an uncomfortable sensation. At least, at first.
There was little left of Venom outside of her, and at this point, the symbiote was pretty much dissolved into her body. Koriand'r attempted to calm herself, biting her bottom lip hard and looking at her hands to try and quell the energy bursting from them as a mechanism for defense.
“I….I do not like this. Please, get out of me.” She swallowed back nerves, feeling chilled, goosebumps on her exposed body. “Venom….we…I…Please. I will not ask again nicely.”
There’s panic in the voice. In her mind, she feels a glimpse of fear that isn’t her own. It’s not a control over her emotions, but rather its almost like a second set of input. Unnerving, certainty, but it’s distinct in that it doesn’t highjack her own senses.
There’s an empathic connection, one that tells her what the entity within her feels. Afraid. And in this case, fear that Koriand’r was no less than that of the entity inside her. It brews in silence after a moment or two. Emotions flash through her mind, though they didn’t impose themselves onto her own psyche. It was a sensation that was distinctly inhuman, as if to a degree she could sense the thoughts and of the alien presence within her.
There was desperation, fear, and a distinct survival instinct. But regardless, the voice takes on a calm. It comes out gentle, registering and knowing her fear and responding to it in a way that almost attempted to be calming despite it’s own state of distress.
Guilt from the other entity pangs in her head, as if the being itself didn’t like the fact that it frightened her. It’s voice drifts between desperate and frightened, but it still speaks as if attempting to be gentle. Just like Kori once was, there was a feeling of being a fish out of water being on Earth. But this creature, Venom, was more vulnerable and they knew it.
