“Stay away!” The two words were a mix of Eddie and Venom’s voice together, and in a flash Eddie’s body was replaced by his symbiote’s. Venom took one thundering step closer to Gamora and bent down to be at eye level with her. “It’s a bad place. Full of death. And war. It’s a cage, and I escaped.”

“It’s all fun and games until you’re under 21 and get arrested and put to sleep because they literally don’t know what to do with you. Big oof. Now I’ve got to wear this hat as it’s proven that a plain ball cap the best superhero disguise.”

Venom screamed in his head, and Eddie visibly cringed. “I think he got the message. I’m finally realizing how much you really don’t like symbiotes.”

“I’ve never seen a symbiote up close.” Gwen tried to keep the enthusiasm out of her voice. “I’ve only read about them.”

Eddie thought it over for a second, then shrugged. “Well, if you want to see one so bad--” Black creeped over his limbs, slowly and then all at once, until he was replaced by Venom.

“This is better than reading. Much more fun.”

“We’ve got way different things going on.” That didn’t change the fact that she had felt symbiote flaring up more and more. Her blood was pumping, she was angry and then all the sudden black replaced white. “I’m starting to slip,” she admitted. “With my symbiote. I’m just so stressed all the time.”

“That’s how I was at first. But then again, I had no idea what was going on.” Eddie commented, feeling Venom perk up in the back of his mind. The idea of another symbiote was bound to get his attention. “Venom and I.. we just click. We talk. We experience everything together. Maybe yours is looking for a change of scene or something.”

“I won’t lie, the last few months have been some of the most stressful months of my life. It was all completely worth it, though.”

“I’m not interviewing you right now-- which means I don’t necessarily care. Sorry.”

“Oh, my concerns? My concerns are either that you don’t know what you’re doing-- or, you know exactly what you’re doing. Not sure which one is worse.”

Eddie smiled. “I like having him around actually. It’s been long enough now that I think I would get.. lonely, if he ever left.” He paused, listening to Venom make an off-hand comment before looking back to Scott. “Anything’s possible. I figured mutants would understand that more than anyone else.”
