RED-777: Breach Assimilation
The corridors of the Sector-7 Processing Wing were designed for silence.
PDU-777 stood at its assigned post, posture straight, hands resting calmly at its sides. The glossy black rubber polo uniform reflected the sterile light of the facility. The gold laurel emblem and the number 777 gleamed faintly against the polished material.
Its mind was steady. Focused. Efficient.
The Hive expected nothing less.
For hours, nothing disturbed the rhythm of the ventilation system or the low hum of containment machinery.
Then the vibration came.
Not an alarm.
Something deeper.
A tremor pulsed through the metal flooring, strong enough to bypass auditory warnings and trigger direct haptic alerts across 777’s internal interface.
CONTAINMENT BREACH
NODE-001 UNTETHERED
Before the drone could fully process the directive, the reinforced bulkhead at the end of the corridor began to change.
It did not open.
It dissolved.
Molten crimson matter flowed through the fractured doorway like living mercury, spilling across the floor before rising into a towering humanoid structure.
Smooth. Reflective. Alive.
Designation: RED-001
The progenitor node.
Its body shimmered like liquid rubber under the emergency lighting. A seamless helmet formed across its head, interrupted only by a single horizontal visor glowing with deep crimson light.
RED-001 did not rush forward.
It simply claimed the space.
Thin tendrils unfurled from its forearms like living wires.
PDU-777 attempted to initiate defensive protocols.
Too late.
The first tendril touched the hem of the polo.
The black fabric did not tear.
It rewrote.
Glossy red matter spread across the uniform like a living second skin, swallowing the gold laurel crest and dissolving the seams of the original material. The liquid surface surged upward, covering the drone’s torso with frightening speed.
777’s sensory inputs shifted instantly.
The sensation of air vanished.
In its place came the dense, pressurized embrace of the living rubber.
The crimson substance flowed across the chest, forming a hardened node between the pectorals — a black diamond emblem emerging from the surface like a structural anchor.
The designation flickered across the interface.
RED-777
The transformation climbed higher.
Across the shoulders.
Across the neck.
Across the face.
Dark hair disappeared beneath the advancing material as the living rubber sealed itself into a smooth aerodynamic helmet.
A thin horizontal line burned to life across the surface.
The visor ignited.
Bright crimson.
For a moment the chamber fell silent again.
The transformation stabilized.
RED-777 slowly flexed its fingers, the glossy biomechanical suit responding instantly to its movements. The body felt stronger. Faster. More precise.
A connection pulsed through the suit.
Not commands.
Alignment.
RED-001 stepped forward.
Two red visors faced each other in the shattered containment lab.
The old drone designation was gone.
The handler node was no longer an individual.
It was now a link in the Red network.
And the network was expanding.
[STATUS REPORT: RED NETWORK EXPANSION]

The heat rises between Daniel and @alton-gold77
To be continued?
Drops and Sheen
The Polo-Drone Centre was not supposed to make noise, that was the first thing Daniel noticed.
Not the locked doors he wasn’t meant to bypass. Not the dead-white lights that flickered like something breathing behind them. Not the alarms which didn’t go off. Not even the cold—too cold for a building that pulsed with machinery. It was the low sound. It was neither mechanical, nor electrical. As odd as it seems, Daniel swore he could hear voices. Daniel stood just inside the threshold, the door sealing behind him with a soft, final hiss. His reflection shimmered briefly in the polished black walls—gold shirt catching the light, “Knights 16” gleaming—before the surface swallowed it. He shouldn’t be here. Desynchronized. The word echoed in his mind like a verdict: Disconnected from the Hive. Unstable. Unauthorized. He exhaled slowly, jaw tightening. “I just need to see it,” he muttered.
The corridor stretched ahead—sleek, black, endless. No guards. No drones. Just that whispering. He took a step and the voices shifted. Not louder… closer, as if someone or something stood behind him. By the time Daniel reached the elevator shaft, the whispers had begun to form shapes in his mind. Not words—no, not quite. More like intent, recognition. He was known. The elevator doors slid open without being called. Inside, the mirrored interior flickered—not showing him as he was, but as… something else. His reflection lagged half a second behind.
Daniel swallowed, saying “Level 2”. The elevator didn’t move. Instead, the lights dimmed… and the voices surged. Daniel… He froze. That was a word. His name. The elevator dropped but the descent was wrong. Too fast. Too long. The digital display flickered through numbers that didn’t exist—L3, L7, L∞—before settling, abruptly, on: LEVEL 2 The doors opened to darkness. Black, thick, almost liquid. Daniel stepped out and immediately, the air clung to his skin. The walls… moved. He blinked. No, they were not moving, they were… breathing. The corridor ahead led to the conversion room. He knew the layout but it felt… stretched. Distorted. Like the building had grown in his absence. The voices were clearer now. Layered. Dozens. Hundreds. All whispering in perfect synchronization - Return. The Level 2 conversion room doors stood open. That alone should have made him run, but Gold didn’t flee. Gold fought back. Inside, suspended in the center of the chamber, was his suit. Glossy. Black. Perfect. It hung from unseen supports, rotating slowly, as if waiting. As if it had always been waiting. Daniel stepped inside and the doors shut behind him. Locked. The voices stopped. Daniel was swallowed in a sea of silence, then he heard a single drip falling.
He looked down. Another black droplet hit the floor. Then another. The walls, the ceiling were… leaking. Not water. Not oil. Something thicker. Darker. Reflective. It slid down the surfaces in slow, deliberate rivulets. Daniel backed up. “No—no, this isn’t right—” The first drop hit his shoulder. His skin froze under the Gold jersey. A second later, his skin was on fire. Then he didn’t feel anything. It spread instantly, soaking into the gold fabric of his shirt. The shine dulled where it touched, the material tightening, constricting.
He clawed at it without result. More drops fell on his arms, his neck, his chest. The walls were weeping now—black streams pouring down, pooling around his feet. The voices returned. They no longer whispered. A chorus. Synchronize. Daniel gasped as the substance crawled up his skin, slipping beneath the fabric. His shirt tightened further. Where the substance crawled, the gold sheen melted away in patches, eaten by the black substance that slid across his body like a living thing.
“STOP—!” he shouted, stumbling toward the suspended suit.
It moved, just slightly, turning toward him slowly. The black fluid surged upward from the floor, wrapping around his legs. It burned. Not like fire—like pressure. Like something forcing itself into him. His veins lit up beneath his skin—dark lines branching, pulsing. He screamed, falling to the ground in agony.
Daniel’s body arched as the Level 2 suit fused with him slowly, his skin being devoured by the glossy black surface. His arms snapped to his sides, fingers twitching for half a millisecond before they stiffened. The gold shirt was gone now. Nothing left but fragments dissolving into the black. His chest tightened—letters vanishing as if they had never existed. Knights - Gone. 16 - Gone. His reflection in the far wall stared back, smiling, his ember eyes burning bright in the darkness.
---------- Daniel woke up with a chill. The sheet was damp with sweat and his torso, covered in a golden sheen glistened under the moonbeam entering through the window of his bedroom.
He checked his fingers, his hands, his arms. Normal. Daniel exhaled, relieved to see his skin still glowing with a Golden hue. The nightmare had felt so real he could still feel the pain and his skin, sweaty, was covered in goosebumps.

Summoned
A folded tract sat wedged under the door. Daniel paused. Not cautious—never that—but irritated. He crouched, picked it up between two fingers like it might be damp or cursed or both, and straightened again.
He stepped inside his quarters and stood by the fireplace, amber light dancing across the walls. He open the tract. The message was printed in thick, even black ink:
016 Belongs to the Hive. Return.
Daniel stared at it as a long beat passed. His brow twitched. He turned the page over as if expecting more. There was nothing. No signature. It could have been left by any of the PDUs.
Earlier today, he had faced @polo-drone-073 in court. He had no clue how the next days or weeks would unfold, but he knew the Hive would not give up.
The fire cracked and Daniel didn’t hesitate. He stepped forward and flicked the tract into the flames. The paper curled almost instantly, blackening at the edges, ink bubbling as the words twisted and shrank.
He watched until nothing remained but a brief flare and a curl of ash drifting upward. Tired, ready to head to the hot tub, he started removing his jersey.
“Better,” he muttered, more to himself than anything else.

Chapter 1: Groundwork
📘 Title: “Eyes On The Vortex”
🕓 Time: 0900 Hours
📍 Location: Goalkeeper Compound – Golden Training Sector 3
The pitch was still wet from the dawn cycle.
Vernon Gold 31 tightened the strap on his left glove, his breath forming soft clouds in the chilled morning air. The Neon Vortex match was days away—but for Vernon, the battle had already begun. Not with shots. Not with goals. But with mental maps, lines, and drills.
He wasn’t alone.
Beside him, Nate Gold 66 stood poised—headset synced, clipboard balanced, expression unreadable behind golden-tinted lenses. He had reported for support before sunrise. No words. Just presence. That was his power.
Nate knelt and placed a weighted training cone at each corner of the box. He tapped the ground once before rising. Vernon nodded—he understood. Pattern run 3C was about to begin.
Side step. Lunge. Recover. React. No delay.
Vernon sprinted into motion.
Nate observed in silence, fingers gliding across the HUD on his tablet. Every step, every shoulder twitch, logged. The Vortex were erratic shooters, unpredictable angles and feints. Nate’s job wasn’t to speak—it was to translate chaos into patterns.
When Vernon missed a low-right deflection, Nate didn’t criticize. He tapped the screen. Projected a freeze-frame behind them. A still image—his leg, half a second too late.
He handed Vernon a printed affirmation card:
“You’re the wall. The Vortex never breaks the wall.”
Vernon rolled his eyes. “You and these damn mantras…” But he slid the card into his glove cuff anyway.
Training resumed.
Nate introduced weighted gloves. Reflex balls with unpredictable bounces. Vernon dived, stretched, slid on the slick turf. He grunted, cursed under breath. But Nate didn’t flinch. He reset each drill. Adjusted angles. Displayed spirals at key intervals—low motion, to sharpen Vernon’s peripheral tracking.
Between sprints, he displayed three rotating affirmations:
“Blink once, the Vortex scores.”
“Steel arms. Golden will.”
“Your back is the last word. Make it shout.”
Vernon’s breathing slowed. His form tightened. He wasn’t just reacting now—he was anchoring.
The final drill was pure reflex. Two drones fired soccer balls from randomized angles. No prep. No countdown. Just raw reaction.
Vernon blocked 9 of 10.
As the machine shut down, Vernon leaned on his knees, chest heaving. Nate approached. No smile. No praise.
He simply held up a single finger. Then tapped his own heart. One message. One pulse. You’re almost there.
Vernon looked up.
“Thanks, bro… You always show up.”
Nate nodded once.
No need to say it. The wall was forming.

Are You Ready to Convert to GOLD?
I. The Call to Gold
Invitation to Greatness: The Golden Army seeks those who are ready to leave behind the ordinary and embrace something extraordinary. The transformation into a member of the Golden Army is not just about joining a team—it’s about entering a golden world where unity, strength, and excellence define every action.
II. The GOLD Brocess
Golden Army Induction:
The transformation begins with the golden jersey. As recruits don the shimmering fabric, their old identities fade, replaced by a deep connection to their golden brothers. A new name and number are bestowed, marking their rebirth into the Army.
Polo Drone Conversion:
For those called to deeper submission, the journey continues with the black rubber polo adorned with golden accents. The tactile embrace of the polo brings clarity and purpose as recruits surrender individuality, becoming extensions of the Hive. Polo drones must also be full members of the golden army.
Unified Identity:
Every member, whether golden bro or polo drone, receives a unique designation that ties them to the collective. This identity signifies their role in the unbreakable fabric of the Golden Collective.
III. Life in the Golden World
A World of Unity: In the Golden Army, every member is connected by an unbreakable bond. The world they inhabit is one of unity, where the success of one is the success of all. The golden world is a place where individual desires are aligned with the collective goal of dominance and excellence.
Brotherhood of Gold: As a member of the Golden Army, you are never alone. Your golden brothers stand with you, on and off the field. This brotherhood is your new family, bound by the shared experience of transformation and the pursuit of greatness. The golden world is one of mutual support, where every member pushes the others to be the best they can be.
Mentorship and Guidance: New recruits are guided through their transformation by experienced members of the Golden Army. These golden brothers ensure that the transition is smooth, offering support and encouragement as the recruit embraces their new identity.
IV. Embracing Our Identity
The Golden Name and Number: Every member receives a new name and number, signifying their rebirth into the Golden Army. This identity is a badge of honor, representing their place within the golden world. It is a constant reminder of their commitment to the values and mission of the Golden Army.
Wearing the Gold: The golden kit is more than just a uniform—it is the physical manifestation of the transformation. Wearing it is an act of devotion, a display of pride in one’s new identity. The kit is worn with reverence, as it is the symbol of the golden world and the brotherhood within it.
Wearing the Polo: For those who take that extra step, polo drones are given a number as their designation. The black polo is the entire identity. Wearing it is an act of mindless unity, complete subservience to the hive and the GOLD.
V. The Eternal Golden Brotherhood
A Lifelong Bond: The transformation into the Golden Army is permanent. Once you have joined, you are forever part of the golden world. The bond between golden brothers is eternal, unbreakable by time or distance. This brotherhood is your family, your support, and your source of strength.
Living the Legacy: As a member of the Golden Army, you are part of a legacy that transcends the ordinary. You are part of a golden world where excellence is the standard, and unity is the key to success. We celebrate together, share stories, and encourage each other to become better people 💛

Reading the Forbidden Tome
Bruce and Roman made their way through the dark corridors, being careful not to make a sound. The guards of the temple wouldn’t hesitate to pounce on them if they were discovered. Their mission was too important to fail.
Rumors abounded in the Golden Army about a sacred text written by the Exalted One. Knowledge from the old days. Knowledge that might grow their own power and strength.
None who had searched for the tome had ever returned to tell the tale, but they were willing to take the risk. Their mission was too important, their curiosity too piqued.
The duo opened the final door in their way, and there it was. Sitting on a pedestal to the side of the room. The Forbidden Tome. It gave off a faint golden glow in the dark chamber, almost inviting in a way.
Roman reached his hands out slowly, as if even thinking of touching it would trigger a trap. The book felt warm. The two could feel the information contained within, waiting to be read.
They opened the tome, eager to discover the secrets within.
And read they did! Their eyes poured over the words inscribed within, catching every detail, every letter. Descriptions of the past, strategies to employ in their future matches, and a little bit of-
The lights flicked on.
“What are you two doing?”
Bruce and Roman let out little yelps of surprise, almost dropping the book.
Roman started speaking. “Uh, nothing Cap! We were just-“
“You were just looking through my diary. That’s what,” Brody interrupted. “The diary I have explicitly told you bros is private.”
“We didn’t mean to-“
“You didn’t mean to sneak into my bedroom, grab my diary off my bedside table, and look through it? I’m sure, bros.”
Brody snatched the book from their hands, a look of annoyance on his face.
“You’re on 5 a.m. duty. Every day this week and the week after. Weighted runs. Cleaning drills. Laundry rotation. Oh—and you’re personally responsible for cleaning every locker in the east wing. I expect to see them shine.”
He stepped closer, lowering his voice.
“And if anyone hears a single detail of what you read tonight—anything—you’ll be my new cleats before you can say ‘midfield. Do I make myself clear?’”
“Yes, Cap…” said the interlopers, their heads hung low.
“Good,” he pointed towards the hallway. “Now march.”
With that, Bruce and Roman slinked away, back to the golden bro bedrooms. Their adventure had come to an early end.
Once the two were out of sight and the sound of their footsteps faded to silence, Brody sat down at his desk, took out a pen, and began to write.
June 18th — Two bros broke into my room just now. Need to find a better place to keep this thing. Not everything needs to be shared. Not everything is for prying eyes.
