Random Headcanon:Â Todoroki and Shinsou both fucking love Frankenstein
âspecifically the bookâ
-Todoroki got a copy as a gift from a librarian when he was like 8
-it was damaged by a previous owner and the library didnât want to keep it on the shelves
-itâs still legible though
-itâs got a basic penguin classics cover
-Shinsou got his at a yard sale
-itâs in pretty good condition, and has a Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog cover
-when they saw each other with their copies it was like âs-same book? same book!â
-they start becoming friends after that
-they randomly quote it to each other
-Shinsouâs heading out the door and shouts âBegone, vile insect!â at Todoroki, who cheerfully replies âBut beware! Your hours will pass in dread and miseryâ
-theyâre in a training battle and when they decide to split up Todoroki goes âI will be with you on your wedding-nightâ as they separate
-just,,, so much more shit like that
-no one knows whatâs going on until Momo tells them itâs a book from 1818
-itâs very strange to the others because most of them have only heard of the movie
-âThe monster is the best characterâ âoh that big dude with stiches who couldnât talk right??â ânoâ
-they both relate to the monster but in different ways
-Todoroki:Â âI relate to the monster because my father fucking sucksâ
-Shinsou:Â âI relate to the monster because given the opportunity people would chase me with pitchforksâ
-Kirishima calls the monster Frankenstein once
-the rest glance at each other. Kiri doesnât know what he did but he suspects itâs wrong.
-they look at each other, nod, and Shinsou says âActually, Frankenstein is his creator. But, since heâs practically the monsterâs father, we can assume heâd inherit the nameâÂ
-Todoroki next to him, âAlso Frankenstein is a kickass name and Victor doesnât deserve itâ
