I am stoked to see so many enjoy this AU, thanks for all the nice comments and positive feedback! This was just gonna be some silly character design brainstorming with an old, obscure IP I came across and nothing more, but I kept getting inspired to workshop it further.

I will do a small FAQ to address some burning inquiries, like where Slam and Ace is in this AU cuz I get like 15 of those per post haha.

The designs for Tremor and Cybin have floated around aimlessly in my folders since around 2016, so when coming up with some space-themed antagonist they immediately came to mind, yay recycling 💯

This duo of mercenaries has done dirty work for both the Martian Empire and the Galactic Protectorate, a seemingly never ending conflict that keeps the paychecks rolling in. So to keep up with demand T&C decide to add a new memeber to the team; the mysterious Rookie.

reworked their uniforms like 3 times but think I finally found a style that works. Each loonatic have one or two accessories that matches their role on the team. Danger got a pilot jacket and Lexi wears shock-absorbing moon boots + knee/elbow pads.

Your LU designs are absolutely unique and eye-catching!! Tech’s bandages, noticeable sharp teeth, and intimidating eyes are my favorite! The civilian clothes are so colorful and fit their personalities well! But I’d like to ask a couple of questions: Is there an Ace Bunny in this story? What are the ages of the lead characters?

Thank you!! I might have to re-do their bios at some point, so much keeps changing story and character-wise in my itty-bitty-titty brain.

1.) I have no plans for Ace in this au, I found him to be the least interesting Loonatic and Lexi could just as well fill the role as the cool, collected funny-bunny who messes with teammates and enemies alike. Danger, to me, is a much more interesting and 'morally complex' leader who struggles to come into this role, but is best suited for it.

2.) From youngest to oldest : Lexi (21), Danger (21), Diana (23), Rev (24), and Tech (26).

Y’know, one of my favorite things about Tech is how, despite being a sleeker and arguably more composed version of the Coyote, he’s still scruffy. Like, from his fang always sticking out to KMR’s performance he strikes this perfect balance of academic and tinsmith. And I specially love how your design pushes that with the floppy ear and bandage. The outfits!!! Ahhh, he’s elegant turtleneck and coat with the ripped jeans? Perfection!!! The button up shirt and tie with the messy files and wrapped up hand? Amazing! And his little mechanic suit? I died/pos. I didn’t know such a solid design could be improved 🙌✨

AWW GOSH thank you!!! One can tell A LOT about a person based on how they dress, like a visual extension of their character. - Everything from their economic situation to what emotional state they are in can be revealed in someone's wardrobe.

Tech is overworked, messy but also weirdly organized in his own way. There’s coffee mugs, paperwork, wrenches and wires scattered all around his workspace and everything is covered in mechanical oil. Tech is usually just seen wearing either his overalls as he constantly works on machinery for the Galactic Protectorate or tinkers with his own inventions. To him it's always function over form, and zero fashion-sense. Whenever he’s off, Tech goes for some nice baggy jeans that fits all his trinkets and a worn sweater/t-shirt. Since he’s so accident prone, everything gets torn or burnt or spilled on anyway, hence the bandages.

Tech only dresses up whenever he’s to present something for the board at the GP, and even then he has to scramble together an outfit last minute and probably borrow a tie to look remotely presentable.

I got some questions about your loonatics unleashed AU!

1. Do rev parents still have those “coyote issues”

2. Will there be any romances in your AU?

1.) Oh, absolutely. Ralph and Harriet ( and the extended Runner-family ) is a whole can of worms I’d love to explore. But, I wanna tackle that particular ick with Tech through the lens of classism. Tech, being a coyote, lands on a lower socio-economic status compared to the Runners who’s very much part of the uppercrust in this AU, and Ralph and Harriet will have to face their own bigotry as both Rip and Rev eventually decide to go against the current.

2.) Rev and Tech - They play a big part in each other's growth and help push each other out of their individual comfort zones.

Other than them I don't want to focus on romance too much, there are other emotional connections I’d like to explore. Like the friendship between Lexi and Danger, the sibling dynamic between Danger and Diana and the rivalry between Rip and Rev. Still, it’s definitely present for some characters.

ngl, I am conflicted about how I wanna draw the ducks beak.

Version (A) is how I am most comfortable doing it, while verison (B) is more show accurate, and very iconically Danger - but a hard feature to give other characters and make expressive imo.
