Character Inspos for the quartet 🤞🏼✨
Dan's inspirations are kind of funny because none of them are a 1:1 match 😭 They're more like little pieces of him that got stitched together into one very dramatic human being.
Gojo — The confidence, humor, and tendency to act unserious while actually being one of the most capable people in the room. Dan loves annoying people for entertainment, but beneath all the jokes there's someone who cares deeply about his friends and would go to ridiculous lengths for them. Also the "I can handle it myself" complex 💀
Sylus — The loyalty and protectiveness. Dan is very much a "my people" kind of person. Once you're in his circle, he's ride or die. He also shares Sylus's confidence, possessiveness over the people he loves, and ability to become genuinely intimidating when something threatens them.
Miranda Priestly — Dan's standards 😭 This man expects excellence from himself and everyone around him. He's opinionated, intimidating when he wants to be, and has a habit of making people feel like they've somehow failed an assignment without ever raising his voice. Also the fashion sense.
Regina George — Social menace energy. Information is power. Dan notices everything, knows everyone's business, and absolutely participates in gossip while pretending he's above it. He's charismatic, socially intelligent, and fully aware of the effect he has on people.
Rafayel — Probably one of the biggest influences honestly. The dramatics, the humor, the emotional intelligence, the attention-seeking tendencies, and the way he hides genuine vulnerability behind teasing and theatrics. They're both the type to walk into a room and somehow make themselves everyone's problem 😭
Jinshi — The elegance and the fact that he knows he's attractive. Jinshi and Dan both have that "beautiful and unfortunately aware of it" quality. They also share a tendency to become absolutely ridiculous around people they like. Beneath the charm and confidence, there's someone who works much harder than people realize.
Blair Waldorf — Ambitious, image-conscious, fiercely loyal to her people, and capable of holding a grudge for an absurd amount of time. A lot of Dan's social intelligence and "I know exactly what's happening in this room" energy comes from Blair.
Edna Mode — Tiny fashion dictator 😭 The dramatic opinions. The impossibly high standards. The tendency to roast people while somehow still helping them. Also the absolute certainty that his taste is objectively correct.
Raquelle — This one is specifically for Dan’s extra, petty, and chaotic side 💀 The dramatics. The accidental icon behavior. The ability to turn literally anything into an event. The occasional “I can’t believe I’m surrounded by these people” energy. Also the fact that despite all the theatrics, she’s weirdly lovable.
Honestly if I had to summarize him:
Dan is Gojo's confidence, Sylus's loyalty, Miranda's standards, Regina's social scheming, Rafayel's theatrics, Jinshi's elegance, Blair's ambition, and Edna's fashion dictatorship blended together into one terrifyingly competent, annoyingly charismatic man.
Which explains why he can go from:
> "That outfit is a crime against humanity."
> "Did you eat today, mon cœur?"
within the same conversation 😭💀
Cordelia's inspirations are honestly just different aspects of her personality 😭🌊💕
Ariel — Probably the most obvious one. The mermaid connection aside, Ariel's curiosity, adventurous nature, and desire to explore the world beyond what she already knows remind me a lot of Cordelia. They're both deeply connected to the sea but equally fascinated by the people and world around them.
Bubbles — This is where a lot of Cordelia's sweetness comes from. Bubbles is affectionate, emotional, friendly, and openly loving. People often mistake kindness for weakness, but Bubbles can be terrifying when pushed too far—which feels very Cordelia.
Starfire — The warmth. Starfire loves people with her entire heart and approaches the world with genuine enthusiasm and affection. She can be dramatic, overly affectionate, and unintentionally chaotic at times, which reminds me a lot of Cordelia's social energy 😭
Waguri — Her softness and emotional intelligence. Waguri is gentle and kind, but she isn't passive. She understands people deeply and leads with empathy, which is something I wanted Cordelia to have as well. She's very emotionally aware and genuinely wants the people around her to be happy.
Mitsuri — The combination of femininity and strength. Mitsuri loves cute things, romance, pretty clothes, and expressing affection, but she's also incredibly powerful and courageous. I love characters who are allowed to be unapologetically feminine while still being strong, and that's a huge part of Cordelia's character.
Nobara — The confidence 😭 Nobara knows who she is and refuses to apologize for it. She likes being pretty, likes nice things, and doesn't see those things as weaknesses. She can go from sweet to absolutely terrifying in seconds and has no problem standing her ground. A lot of Cordelia's sass, stubbornness, and "I can wear pearls and still fight you" energy comes from Nobara.
So if I had to summarize her:
Cordelia is Ariel's curiosity, Bubbles' heart, Starfire's warmth, Waguri's empathy, Mitsuri's femininity, and Nobara's confidence all wrapped up into one very affectionate, pearl-collecting, sailor-swearing little menace 😭🌊💕
Zayne gives Seojun his calm, composed exterior—the version of him that always looks like he has everything under control even when he doesn’t. He doesn’t overreact, doesn’t overshare, and somehow makes emotional distance look like emotional stability. Most people assume he’s just cold or hard to read, but it’s more like he processes everything internally and files it away neatly. If something goes wrong, Seojun’s first instinct isn’t panic—it’s silence, a stare, and then quiet problem-solving like the situation personally offended him for existing.
Xavier is Seojun’s “barely there but always present” energy. He’s low-energy, soft-spoken, and acts like he’s half asleep emotionally—but somehow still notices everything. He’ll remember the smallest detail about someone and never mention it again, which makes people question if he’s even paying attention (he is, he’s just not announcing it like a narrator). His affection is subtle to the point of confusion; he’ll help you without explanation and then stand there like nothing happened, as if emotional transparency is a bug he chose not to install.
Rintaro Tsumugi adds a gentle, composed warmth to Seojun’s personality. He’s polite, steady, and emotionally considerate in a way that doesn’t feel performative. He’s the type to quietly adjust his behavior so others feel comfortable, then pretend it was nothing special. Seojun inherits that calm social awareness—he knows what’s going on in a room, he just doesn’t always announce that he knows. He’s the guy who listens to everything, processes it, and then replies five minutes later with something unexpectedly thoughtful that makes everyone go, “wait… how did you get that from what I said?”
Inumaki influences Seojun’s minimal but intentional communication style. He doesn’t waste words, and when he does speak, it’s usually short, precise, and slightly more impactful than necessary. He’s the type to say “yeah” once in a serious situation and somehow make it sound like a full emotional statement. It also means he’s very expressive in nonverbal ways—like staring slightly too long instead of answering a question, or just silently handing someone something they definitely needed without explaining why. His silence isn’t emptiness—it’s just efficiency.
Connor brings both Seojun’s analytical brain and his social awkwardness. He’s extremely observant and intelligent, but his “human interaction software” sometimes lags. He might stand too still in conversations, respond a second too late, or say something perfectly logical that lands just slightly off socially, then pause like he’s analyzing why everyone laughed. He’s the type to try and be friendly and accidentally sound like he’s conducting an interview. But that awkwardness makes him even more endearing—because he’s clearly trying, just in a very “loading…” kind of way. Underneath that, he’s still precise, calm, and deeply attentive in ways he doesn’t always know how to express smoothly.
Megumi gives Seojun his quiet moral seriousness and understated loyalty. He doesn’t talk about what he believes in much, but his actions are consistent and grounded. He’s the type to help someone without making eye contact and then act like it was inconvenient, even though it clearly wasn’t. Seojun inherits that same “I am not emotionally expressive but I will absolutely protect you anyway” energy. He’s not loud about caring—he just quietly shows up, does what needs to be done, and then immediately tries to leave the situation like nothing happened.
Alex gives her the “I am smarter than I look and slightly annoyed about it” energy. She’s observant, sharp, and always mentally five steps ahead, but she rarely bothers to explain herself unless absolutely necessary. Most of the time she’s just standing there silently judging a situation, only to drop one sentence that ends the argument. People think she’s emotionally distant, but really she’s just processing everything while pretending she’s not involved. She also has a habit of giving deadpan reactions that somehow make her funnier than the actual joke.
Harvey Specter brings her confidence, composure, and “I didn’t lose, I just allowed you to feel like you had a chance” attitude. She walks into situations like she’s already been declared correct by a higher authority. She’s calm, polished, and slightly intimidating, but also has that ridiculous confidence where she’ll say something outrageous and still make it sound legally correct. Underneath it, she’s emotionally guarded, but she expresses care in subtle ways—like fixing your problem and then acting like she didn’t do you a massive favor.
Raven is her “I need five business days to process emotions” side. She’s quiet, introspective, and constantly dealing with internal overthinking that no one asked for. She’ll be in a group setting like, “I should not be here,” while simultaneously being the most emotionally aware person in the room. She gives off “I am calmly holding back a cosmic disaster and also mild social anxiety” energy. But when she does open up, it’s lowkey deep and everyone suddenly feels like they’ve been emotionally read like a book.
Buttercup is her “I don’t have time for this” personality core. She’s blunt, aggressive when necessary, and has zero patience for nonsense. If something is annoying, she will say it. If someone is stupid, she will also say it. She’s the type to walk into a problem, solve it with brute honesty, and walk out like it was everyone else’s fault for making it complicated. People think she’s intimidating, but she just thinks everyone else is slow.
Mulan gives her the disciplined, “I will do it myself because I don’t trust anyone else not to mess it up” energy. She carries responsibility seriously but also has a slight internal monologue like, “why is everything my job??” She pushes through pressure, expectations, and identity struggles with quiet determination. She’s not loud about bravery, but she will absolutely show up in situations where everyone else is panicking and somehow already have a plan halfway done.
Five is her chaotic genius side—fast-thinking, slightly unhinged, and always mentally sprinting while everyone else is still tying their shoes. She will solve a problem in three seconds and then be annoyed that others took longer than zero. Her humor is dry, sharp, and occasionally concerning. She’s the type to say, “This is simple,” and then explain something so complicated everyone just accepts she’s right without understanding a word.
This was very fun to make hehe
